Noah felt drained after the previous happenings of the day. He had almost expected things to go this way since the key elements of the past could not be changed in this illusion. If the king had not heard the words of fate in his past then he would not be able to hear them fully now.
However, what did worry him was the feeling of emptiness he was feeling right now. Being interrupted in that state was a risk he had to take. Since he was still not in control, his energy had free reign to cause damage to himself.
He would not be sure whether everything was alright or not till he could examine himself in a little more detail.
The eyes behind the mask took in the empty room all around him and let out a heavy sigh. The room was empty, only occupied by him currently. He recognised the bed he was occupying since he had spent quite some time lounging here.
