He reached his room and opened the door softly. His room had not changed even one but from the last time, he had been here. Even the dust had not settled down on the surface yet. It looked as if it had been preserved to stay this way forever and he had an urge to thrash it all.
Noah contained that urge inside his heart and opened the drawer to look for the schools he had kept there. His hand closed around a cylindrical container and he opened it to check. It was a blank scroll without any writing, just as he had been hoping for all this time.
With the first of the required items in his hand, Noah made his way outside. This time, no one even tried to stop him. He was an honoured guest now and they knew better than to engage with those people. Especially when it was their master who had invited the other in. It was easy to slip away and to move toward the assigned place.
