He clutched Noah as Jess came closer, his teeth baring at the other's figure who just smiled a lazy smile.

Keito heard those words but they did not register till way later inside his animal brain. He had already attacked Jess in the meantime but once he recognised that she was not fighting back he allowed himself to relax. He had to do his best not to tear her throat out as her alpha was demanding him to do.
