It has been a day since the battle on the Aegis clan's ark, the Dragonheart.
"We just got back from the doc." Kaz and Ace walked in on the others.
They all dropped whatever they were doing and focused on the two.
Maggie and Conroy were looking healthy having taken the antidote Ace gave them.
"Vorus is going to be out for a while longer."
"Great," Reginald says. "Our ark's busted and the big guy is out of commission."
"The Vagrant games start in a few days. How are we ever going to get ready by then?"
"About that..." Kaz intervenes as he looks at Ernie who nods his head.
"I can't come with you guys."
"I figured you'd say that." Ace places his hand on Kaz's shoulder.
"I pulled you two away from your tasks with the base."
The Vice-Captain shakes his head.
"That's not it, Ace. Ernie covered a lot while I was helping you guys with the whole Rada Khan thing. We finished up the base."
