Chapter 36 - Sophia Yolanda

Upon hearing Gaia's words, the members of the explorer team revealed a strange smile.

They knew exactly what the spore forest was like.

After all, they had personally witnessed Gaia's suffering after being infected by the spores.

If that brat was infected by the spores, no one in the exploration team would risk their lives to save him.

The bespectacled young man saw their strange smiles and asked curiously.

"You guys think so too?"

Brad held back the maliciousness in his heart and replied calmly.

"Yeah! This forest is so quiet and peaceful. It should be the treasure of all of us humans! How can we let others destroy it?"

When he said this, most of the people, including Wendell, nodded in agreement.

This also made the soldiers of the exploration team know what kind of people they were.

There was only one woman in the expert group who did not seem to budge. She frowned and walked towards Gaia.

"Gaia, come with me," the woman suddenly said as she pulled Gaia to the side.

Gaia was a little confused, but with a beautiful lady was taking the initiative, there was no way he would refuse.

William and the others had cheeky girns on their faces as they whistled at Gaia and the others.

"Whew! Gaia, what are you two talking about over there that's so private that you can't share with the group!"

After saying that, they ignored the frustrated expressions of the bespectacled youth and the other boys from the expert group as they said loudly.

"Sigh! Gaia was really born under a lucky star. After only knowng each other for this short time ans he already managed to seduced this genius beauty. By the time we get back to Planet Azure, the deed would already be done!"

Hearing these words, the expressions of the bespectacled youth and the others became even worse. Looking at the backs of Gaia and the woman, they really wished they could kill Gaia.

However, Gaia was not feeling happy at all right now.

"My name is Gaia. Nice to meet you." Gaia extended his hand and smiled at the woman, revealing his pearly whites.

This woman was quite beautiful. At first glance, she seemed a little thin.

However, when he took a closer look, he realized that this girl still had meat where it counted, giving her a nice hourglass figure.

Moreover, she had the vibe of a mature intellectual beauty. Coupled with her untouchable aura, she was particularly attractive to men.

She was exactly his type.

"Sophia Yolanda!"

"Oh! Are you a member of the Yolanda Family?" Gaia asked curiously.

"That's right," Sophia said. "The spore forest you mentioned just now isn't a good place, is it?"

"How can that be?" Gaia immediately replied, but his tone was very insincere.

"Don't group me with those idiots. If it wasn't for the profit negotiations, they wouldn't even be able to enter such a place at this time."

"So?" Gaia took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. He took one out and put it in his mouth. Then, he handed the pack to Sophia.

"Want one?"

"Why not?" Sophia took a cigarette and lit it. She took a deep breath and blew out a smoke ring.

"Come on, play nice. Light it for me too," Gaia said.

Seeing this, Sophia bent forward and lit the cigarette in Gaia's mouth as well.

The bespectacled youth and the other scholars seemed to swell with anger as they aw that scene.

Did their relationship really develop so quickly?

They had only just met each other, and now, she was already lighting up cigarettes for him.

"Tell me about the dangers in the forest. Those overconfident guys will die in this forest sooner or later. I don't want to die with them."

"I can't tell you the details. It's all confidential. It was the result of our trial and error putting human lives on the line." Gaia would not expose the precious information that they had painstakingly tested out just because Sophia was a beautiful lady. However, it was still possible to ensure her safety.

"All you need to know is that this seemingly peaceful forest is a gigantic deathtrap. If you're not careful, you won't live long enough to see the sunset.

"You might be dismembered and eaten alive by those wolf monsters, or you might be stung by a venomous insect that lays their eggs in your body. For the latter, you'll be conscious enough to know that your body is melting bit by bit, and those little bugs will come out of the eggs and grow up by eating your flesh."

When these words were said, the eavesdropping expedition team members felt a chill down their spine.

Although they had experienced the dangers in the jungle firsthand, they still trembled in fear as they heard Gaia's description.

"Then what should I do?" Sophia's expression did not change much. Her family had warned her before she came to Planet Mushu.

"Restrain your curiosity and follow us. One more important piece of advice. Don't bother with your companions," Gaia reminded her.

"Careful!" Gaia suddenly pulled her closer and raised her chin. "Where did the petals from your chest come from?"

"Maybethey got blown here by the wind? Is there a problem?" Sophia was confused.

"That yellow flower might not look dangerous, but there are thin barbs on its pollen. If you get it on your body, you'll wish you could rip off your skin."

Everyone in the exploration team had a strange look on their faces. Gaia was did not sound like he was lying.

However, everyone was wearing combat uniforms. How could that thing even get on their bodies anyway?

They were all men. They knew what was going on.

"Kyaaa!"

"Then what should I do?" Sophia said anxiously. She stared at the very unremarkable flower petal on her body, seemingly at a loss of what to do.

"Let me help you." Gaia put on the protective gloves and carefully plucked the flower petal from Sophia's chest. His fingers even digging into her chest slightly to cop a feel.

In the end, with the pretense of getting rid of all the pollen, he even rubbed her chest a little.

"So soft~"

All the men present gulped. At this point, the members of the exploration team were even more direct with their jealousy.

They all pointed their middle fingers at Gaia!

At this moment, Sophia obviously knew what Gaia had done.

Her pretty face immediately flushed red, but she immediately looked at him with a faint smile. "Gaia, you sly dog. You want a piece of this?"

Brad, who was listening intently, almost choked on his saliva. He quickly turned his head away.

"How could that be? I'm just admiring your beauty," Gaia corrected her.

Then, he revealed an serious yet cheerful smile. Coupled with his handsome face, he could charm the skin off a snake.

"Of course, I do want to make friends with you."

"I don't mind," Sophia said casually.

William and the others looked surprised as they turned ober to give Gaia a thumbs up.

However, Sophia continued, "But does your fiancée know that you like to make friends so much?"

"What did you say? You know Christina?" Gaia asked in surprise.

"Of course, Christina and I are in the same research institute," Sophia said.

After Sophia said that, Gaia no longer had the intention to play with this girl.

Now lacking interest, he quickly found a reason to end the conversation.
