While Eva was sleeping , Zach hugged her close to his chest. Letting his wolf enjoy for a bit more. He could not wait to go back though this was their temporary place, their original house was much more grander as property of Supreme Alpha was no less than fairy castle.
When Eva woke up, he smiled at her and nuzzled her neck where he bit last night, making her blush hard " I will make you tea". She nodded, while Zach was gone she started looking around her and to her amazement as she checked the room she realised that this world was so different from hers.
So, when he came back, he took his time to explain everything slowly and patiently. He never let her feel inferior to anyone. When she came back everything was so hurried and then they were so tired that she slept as soon as she laid on bed.
But still one day was not enough to explain the modern things and his wolf wanted to play with his mate. So, he took turns letting his wolf and human side enjoy the pleasure of being with mate. Seeing sun setting from the window made her turn to him as she covered her body with the warm blanket " Zach, how will you explain to everyone what happened in the castle and those dark ones, now they know that I am here will they attack this place".
Zach slowly laid down with his hands behind his neck, in a musing tone he explained " Eva I am the son of Supreme Alpha and second highest in position in everything. This clan will do everything to protect you even with their life not only for this position but also the gift that you are giving to them".
He curled her hairs on his finger as he took a whiff closing his eyes in satisfaction, and continued " let me tell you why I came to your castle " since last 500 years not a single wolf was born in the tribe, yes their were children but all were human. Though they were more agile and powerful than normal humans but they are not wolf and so, our power was decreasing daily which could be fatal to wolf clan in coming years."
His face was sad remembering all the brothers he lost, with warm baritone he continued "Though our life span is thousand years. It does not prevent casualty from war and sickness. So, you being here and me mating with you cured our clan with this problem as explained by your fairy Queen because fairies came from life tree and they have power to being back the life essence of supernatural creature. That's why those dark ones are after your blood. If taken by force it will curse you and given willingly can save you and So, my clan will worship you for that".
Seeing her deep in thoughts he frowned and explained more, through their mate bond he could feel she was confused and sad with something, so he quickly clarified her doubts " dont even for a second think that I mated with just for the sake of the clan, let me explain to you which will clear your mind completely".
He brought her to his arms and cleared all her doubts slowly "if any wolf did something nefarious and bad which was harmful to a clan but if he did it for the sake of his mate, that offence is pardonable, though the person will be punished severely but not killed".
Eva was amazed by the extent , wolf clan gave importance to mate. Finally she relaxed and let the sleep claim her tired body. Next day when she opened her eyes she saw a teenage girl sitting on her bed.
Eva felt shy because she was in her night dress and the new arrival made her nervous, her eyes kept searching for Zach looking at her gaze the girl replied " brother Zach is in the council meeting to explain about what happened in the dark forest".
Eva nodded her head, but still she felt shy about wearing her clothes in front of stranger. Just then the door opened and a pregnant woman walked inside, she bowed her head in respect and smiled at her, then pinched the ear of the girl making her jump. She screeched " sister, let me go you should save this ear pulling for your child dont waste it on me".
Eva laughed seeing their antics, the pregnant woman explained herself " hello I am Megan and this is my younger sister Patricia. She is a bit mad don't mind her . God gave all the good brains to me and left little to her".
Patricia showed her the tongue in cheek action and said " God gave me all the looks because of that. As you can see my fair beauty". She said this while striking a bold pose making Eva smile " hello, I am Evangeline you can call me Eva. You both are just like my sister's I feel happy to meet you".
She suddenly turned silent remembering that her sister right now were still in fossil form rather than free like her. Megan smiled like an elder sister she caressed Eva's head " don't worry , we know about them. I don't know why but when I see you I feel the urge to protect you. One day we will sit here and chat with your sisters when we will free them. Now get ready my dear. I think it's time for your introduction and letting you meet the clan elders with Zach's parents".
