Max caught upto Sophie before she could go too far into the streets. At this point they were only 1 killometer ish away from the upside and the area was still under military protection.
Max held Sophie's arm tightly and immobilized her weapon arm as he gave a tight slap across her face.

Sophie was stunned to see that Max hit her and she waited for Max's eyes to turn apologetic but it did not , the rage in his eyes never subsided as he kept glaring at the woman.
" Why did you hit me ? " Sophie said a tear rolling down her eye, however Max was no longer affected by her crocodile tears
Max said " You've stop acting crazy , I'm not your property and you are not mine. If you want to be in a healthy relationship with me then you need to understand boundries .
