Chapter 1 - Prologue

The sky shined bright red but with a black sun. It was the D-Day as usual. Although it wasn't something that happens often. It was the day, they finally decided to end the reigning Villain Lord. The hero brigade had finally taken action although it was futile. Piles of dead bodies laid waste on the hard Sandy soil. Amongst this two men were still standing.

One was the Villain Lord himself and the other was the last line if defense of the Hero Brigade. The man was stabbed in the chest by the gruesome man himself in the most gruesome way.

The man fell dead before the feet of the Villain Lord. With his face and white designers suit smothered with blood. He drew out his 5ft thin blade out of the man's chest and swayed the blood out of the blade. He slowly sat down on a rock on a hill when a portal suddenly opened besides him.

Just then two men, one blonde the other brown wearing the same outfit as the Villain Lord although not as stylish slowly came out of the portal. Once there gaze met the Villain Lord they fell on their left feet.

"Young master. I hope you are having fun ?" the brown asked.

The Villain Lord stared at him.

"no need to use that tone on me father"

"but you are my leader, aren't you Christopher ?" the brown slowly raised his head.

The Villain Lord chuckled and smiled. "I haven't heard that name since mum joined the hero brigade".

"yeah. It must have been a sad moment for you".

"no matter". "what seems to be the problem ?"

"your lordship, the heros that had attacked our base have been dealt with as you commanded" the blonde answered

The Villain Lord gave a wry smile "any signs on the chosen hero ?" "no, your lordship, we still haven't heard of such news".

He sighed. The Villain Lord gave a tired smile. After all, there was no one in the whole multiverse who could beat him. After all, he was able to gain complete dominance over his father at the tender age of 10. He hasn't once fought a befitting warrior. Or at least not since that time. After he defeated the last chosen hero over a century ago, he has now been waiting patiently for another to awaken.

"time is running" he whispered.

"what shall we do about the invasion ?"

"oh that,...we will have to wait. At least until I've seen the next chosen hero"

"oh...do you still imply that they may be someone stronger than you ?"

"oh....father. Of course I do. After all we are in the 23rd century". He chuckled as he brought out a cigarette from his pocket. He lighted it with his fingers and took a brief inhale of it.

"he will definitely show up. Don't worry" "in the mean time inform the remaining 8 of my commanders to stand down until I inform them of what to do".

"yes, son"

"as you wish, my lordship".

The two men got back up and went into the portal. It closed.

"John. Time is almost up" The Villain Lord said. He gave out a poof and another wry smile appeared on his face as he watched the blood on the hill drain down into the ocean while the piles of dead bodies rotted below his feet.
