She kept her silence and wondered about her son's future, just maybe this could show the villagers he was just a normal child too.
"Would you please be willing to show me?" She asked laughing for the first time.
'Here goes nothing.' Tobi thought.
Immediately, someone had quickly rushed to bring a broomstick, as they handed it over to the midwife before passing it to him.
Taking the broom with both hands, he began wiping the floor that had slight sand and dust on them.
"Oh, wonderful!" She couldn't help laugh in admiration again, as she watch her little grandson clumsy figure moving about on the floor.
She could see more of her youthful self in him, she had once been a precocious brat. When she was just his age, making Tobi a sight to behold.
Usually, women do much of the household work like washing or sweeping, and men were to provide for the household by hunting, blacksmithing and carpentry.
However, that was basically until they become a man, most village boys were usually blockheads and lazy at their youths until they were tied down by responsibilities. They were more inclined to only wander about the village chasing skirts, betting, or thinking of becoming a knight.
"Now I want you to do something for me. Can you try packing the little dirt you just swept?"
Tobi nodded in response.
"Even if there are leftovers, just leave them on the floor."
Tobi could not comprehend the reason nevertheless since she was his grandma so he complied.
Squatting down a bit, he was given a flat metal with a handle on its body. Tobi could not afford to show them he was a man of steel, so his focus was merely a peaked facade of trying to make his lack of control convincing.

For the first time, she was actually amazed after a very long time in her boring life. "My name is Maida, but everyone knows me by granny."
"Why granny?" The name granny was usually used in terms of endearment used for family grandmothers.
"Of course because am old little brat, and apart from that when I was still a young beautiful maiden everyone called me my maiden name. But then as you can see so much time had passed, and just like every human i became old, an old granny after helping so many parents and their children, some were normal while the rest were just like you. While some called me grandma out of appreciation, others called me a Witcher.
"After even more time had passed, those children had children of their own, or either died and they all started calling me grandma again, just like that." She said ruffling his grey hair.
"According to what I had in mind, which am still contemplating over. Now you are too small for what I have in mind, but when you have clocked six or seven years old, instead of just staying at home and studying just like that, you could come over and I might be able to help your mother with what she needs." She said with a smile, as she looked at Christy
Tobi looked her with a confounded experession before tilting his head backward and sideways, playing dumb.
"Mother, what is grandma saying?" He replied while hiding behind his mother, only half his face visible between her legs.
Christy didn't know whether she should cry or laugh. Her grandma had just made what would be a dream to make him a normal human again finally come true, but her son didn't even understand how grave what he was about turning down.
"Please, excuse him, grandma. He is just three years old, he has no idea what he is saying. He doesn't even know the importance of what you just said."
"This little brat, three?." She repeated with a smile. "It's seemed almost too good to be true, but you are right. Kids would always remain kids.
"Well, we'll have this conversation again three years from now. Don't forget to greet my little bullhead child" She rubbed Tobi's head, looking him straight in the eyes.
"If you don't become as violent as all the other dc in this village, I'll take you for a treat. Of course, if you're still interested by that time."
Tobi nodded, grabbing his mother's gown pretending to seek for her protection.
His weak and timid appearance hid his wild thoughts.
'Three years? You might as well let my sister die before then! And all because of you greedy hag.' Tobi thought. He was already sick of seeing his sister's going through such a circle of pains, and not being able to even help her.
Even though he was literally annoyed, he couldn't stop himself from pondering random thoughts, as he thought of what he could do to help his sister out of her situation.
However, the popping of notifications that had suddenly appeared interrupted all his thoughts.
