Two brand new days since the prince left the campus, his heart remained back there with Brianna without him realizing it. The beating of his heart is different from what he has ever felt. Day and night he kept questioning himself what this feeling could be.
The king and queen have been observant of his new changes lately, Always absent minded, smiling by himself.
"The morning breeze is very awesome, today, is everyone feeling lt this way?" His majesty asked the queen sitting next to him on the garden chair in the royal shelter.
" It's indeed very beautiful."
At that moment, the prince, with the crown on his head, in royal rob came by, "Good morning highnesses." slight bow as usual.
" Good morning, prince, Lawrence." The king answered cheerfully. "please, join us." Show him an empty sit
"Later, your majesty as at now, I'm going out to see a friend."
" To see a friend?" Surprisingly asked, "is Samuel, back from Canada?" asked the king.
" No, it's just another friend. Can I go, now?"
"Is it a lady, huh?" The queen smile teasingly.
The prince smiled shamefully and walked out to further questions.
Grace is ready for the market, she picked her vegetable basket and left to her restaurant. She runs a small restaurant, just to help support her family. The restaurant has been running since they came to settle in Yashilan with her husband and kids after leaving makulu kingdom 25 years ago. People loves her simple cooking, her receipts are just unique as compared to other restaurants. who so ever taste the food always comes back for more.
"Brianna, don't forget to bring me those spices, when you are done doing chores, I will be leaving now." Shout as she walked away, carrying her basket on the head.
" Alright mother, I won't forget." She responded from the house as she cleans.
The weekend has come to an end and she will soon be going back to school, so she is helping her mother to do chores before she goes back, since a little girl, Brianna Loved singing, she got this from her mother and grandmother. Grace and Lukundo could perform in every school functions as entertainer singers. They had a stage name in which they could call themselves as the Lugrace, from the combination of their names, Lukundo and Grace. Not only Grace got this from her mother, but also her brother, Daniel. They make a good team together. At church, they are the top leads in praise team at a Pentecostal, called Elshadai church.
Mr Kumwenda came out from the bedroom and found his children, Singing as they clean the house and joins in. The bass tone of his voice amused Brianna and Daniel. They sung and sung and upon finishing, they clapped for themselves, joyfully.
"Daddy, that was amazing, we will have to sing this song on Sunday at church!" Excitedly said.
He giggled, "Come on dear, have you forgotten that you are suppose to go back to school, tomorrow?"
"She has forgotten." Daniel giggling.
She sighed in disappointment.
"I will be outside. hurry up you come join us. Come on my darling." Hold little Vanessa by the hand, outside.
A father and a daughter, sitted on the mat, helping her tie her hair, a brand new white Hilux entered his compound and parked by as he watched, curiously to see who is coming out of it. To his surprise, a palace guard came out from it opened the back door and michelo came out. Another one rushed and opened the other door where the prince came out from in his royal attire.
"Wow__just like the prince from Sofia." Vanessa goggled in surprise.
Immediately as he approached, Mr Kumwenda stood up and bowed, while Vanessa stood still, staring surprisingly.
" Your majesty, may you live long." Bow head, waiting for him to free him to stretchen up.
" No, no, no, please." plead him not to do it. " You don't have to do this, I am in your compound, not the palace."
"Still, my prince, you are royalty and you visiting my house doesn't change the fact."
"Good morning Uncle." guiltly greeted him.
" How are you my dear."
"I'm fine. Is Bri in?" she asked.
"Yes, she is inside. Come on in my prince."
" Yes don't have to bother, sir. I'm ok sitting out, here with you."
Quickly, Reuben offer him his sit then he took another chair which was just by the corner of the door.
" Hey princess, what's your name." He squat before the little girl.
"Vanessa, but They usually call me vanny. Are you a prince from Barbie or Sofia?"
Prince Lawrence chuckled, "Which one of those character is your favorite?"
" Sofia." Excitedly answered.
"Then I am from Sofia, sent especially for you." pointed on her small nose.
Vanessa giggled, "thank you for coming." fell on his arms so excited.
Still holding on with Vanessa, Brianna came out and stopped freeze by the door when she truly saw him. when Michie told her, she didn't believe her that he was outside.
The prince slowly pulled out, stood while fixed his eyes on Brianna.
"come on Vanny." pull her by the wrist. " I will be inside, Incase you need me."Excused himself leaving the two of them awkwardly staring at each other.
"So you are truly a prince." Brianna broke the silence after staring at him from toe to head.
" I'm very sorry I wasn't honest enough about who I was." moved steps close.
Having him standing that close, she felt uneasy. In making an excuse , she hurried and dragged a sit for him to sit down. " You can have a sit. " dusting it. "I'm very sorry, we don't have a better sits." nervously explained.
Instead of getting a sit, he took her hand on his, kissed on top of the palm, "I apologise for my behavior, towards you lately. About the kiss, I'm sorry." He took another step close and said, "Will you find it in your beautiful heart to forgive me, Brianna?" lovingly, staring in her beautiful eyes.
The beating of her heart changed it's normal pulse out of nervousness. " It's alright, I should be the one to apologise for..... cut short.
Without allowing her to complete the sentence, he pulled her into a tight hug. " Thank you so very much."
Brianna was cought by surprise and didn't know how to respond to this. after a while, she had no choice but to rest her hands on his back too.
Michie, Daniel and mrs Kumwenda, watching from the window, they all smiled.
At that moment, Manoah parked by the road side and enter the Kumwenda compound, only to spot Brianna in the prince's arms. He stop freeze in surprise. "prince? " questioned himself. "How dare you play in my way." Angrily spoke to himself, panting in anger.
Slowly, Brianna pulled herself out from the hug, staring around shamefully. Before he could be seen, Manoah walked away and drive off, very pissed.
"I'm sorry." Stepped back, shamefully, upon realizing.
Daniel came running with a phone on his ear, " Here she is mama." Plugged the phone to her ear, as soon as she reached him and stand aside.
" Mum, I'm about to start off, now." She explained herself before she is shouted at.
" Hurry up, Bri, I have run out of spices here and there are alot of things to prepare, plus saving the customers. you need to come and help me."
"I'm on my way." Phone hung.
"I have to go, sorry. My mother needs help in the restaurant."
" Oh, she has a restaurant?"
"yes."
" I will also be on my way. Can I drop you over?"
"No, it's alright, I can walk. The market is not even very far." She run inside the house and shortly came out with a box of spices but before she stepped out, she heard the prince and her father talking about her.
" Sir, I really like your daughter so very much. Her kind is rare to find, sir. I want to tell you that, my intentions for her, are not bad. All I want is to create a bond of Friends with her."
"I understand my dear. you are a good man, prince and honestly speaking, you took that after your great father. The man of honor, authority suits him. You son, will surely make a good king."
"Thank you, sir. I will take my leave now." With due respect, he left.
Reuben remained there standing and smiling until the car could be seen no more. He at last turned and found Brianna standing, carrying a box. Reuben always find so much pleasure in his beloved daughter, he moved close and kissed her on the forehead with deeper love of a father. "Go now, she must be waiting for you."
She smiled and left running. Prince Lawrence all the way kept thinking about her and smiling by himself like a fool. " My prince, is everything ok?" his personal guard, Hector asked after seeing how he was smiling.

After a while, the car was parked by the entrance and he dropped off. He run into the house and found his mother, the queen smiling as though she has received good news.
"Hey, dear mother," give her a hug, " You are too Happy, what is it that I'm missing out?"
" Your brother will finally be coming back home, not for a visit, but to stay!" Joyfully spoke.
"Really, father, Gabriel is coming back finally?" Excitedly questioned.
"Yes, he is coming back." Sigh, "It is high time that your stubborn brother comes back home to learn of what to do as a prince. It has been reported that, he's been mischievous there in America, and you know your aunt Hellena, she is very irresponsible." rested on a couch with a sigh.
Lawrence and the queen, looked at each other with smiling faces and hugged.
Brianna used the back door to the kitchen of the restaurant long time ago and handed over the spices to her mother then carried the tray of food, off to save the customers. " Good morning, ladies and gentlemen." With her charming smiling face, she greeted as she put on each table a plate.
"Brianna___," All the customers called at once with smiling faces. "When did you come, we missed you." Jumbe one of the two veterans and a long time marketeer, 30 Years of age, very friendly and fair market leader who is in charge of market welfare, collection of money for maintenance. Him and other committee members works hand in hand with their councilor, in making sure the affairs of the market and the entire compound of their small town, reaches the king through their town councilor Mr kumwenda who takes matters to the royal cabinet member.
" I came last week." Brianna giggling.
"How is school life, are you enjoying it?" Mrs nkweto who sells fruits asked.
"mmm, Tell us." Teasingly, everyone asked.
giggling, Brianna, "Of course it's awesome."
"Any song for us? We really miss your angelic voice." John's, son to Mr Jumbe, a market comedian.
Everyone began to demand for a song from her, " come on, Bri, bless us with one." They pleaded.
" Not now, busy." Smiled, mum will be furious, you know how she is." She spoke in a low tone.
"Brianna, are you still setting the tables?" She shout from the kitchen.
" I'm coming, mamita!" She answered, "You see, bye." hurried to the kitchen with her tray.
Everyone enjoyed the meal, it's now time to get back to their various businesses. They all thanked Mrs Kumwenda and leaving one by one.
" Have nice day everyone, and please come back for lunch!" waving at them from the door way.
"We are coming back for our unfinished business!" They said, in response.
Manoah reached home very furious, he enters his room and pulled the table of which he puts his things down with a groan. his mother came in running, terrified of what is happening with him. In long time now, she has not seen her son in such a mood, but today she wandered of what could have upset him.
Manoah has a mental disorder that causes him do unimaginable things whenever is provoked. He had been kept in mental asylum for many years just to keep him away from committing crimes. After running away from it, he and his mother left to a new town from where he fell in love with a girl who belonged to another man, out of obsession, he appeared with his gang boys on their wedding and shot the man who was marrying the woman. About to escape, the police got him on time and sentenced him to prison from where he escaped after 5 years to unknown town with his acompress mother. Until now, the police have been searching for him.
He continued thrashing the things in his room in anger, his mum can not even come near him when he's like this except for the family doctor who has worked on his case since he was 13.
" Doctor, Please come over, my son is loosing his mind again."She spoke in a trembling voice with her hands terribly shaking in fear.
" I'm on my way." A female voice spoke from the other side.
In a while, the doctor came running and did the usual tactics that she has been doing for all these years until she managed to give him an injection that made him weak then later fell asleep.
"Thank you so much. I don't know what I could have done if you haven't come on time." Still trembling, she said.
"What happened to him? I thought you are keeping an eye on him, then why this?"
"I don't know as well doctor, what happened where he came from."
" You need to find out before he hurts someone again. I'm leaving." Picked her medicine bag and left.
Mrs muluti stood on the door way, staring at her son, sadly then later closed the door and left down stairs.
