The view of the old building in front of him made Max wonder. Are the occupants—especially the children's living properly there?
Max's head went up and then down again. As if looking at the building is like looking at humans. From up then down, then up again as surprised.
The person who brought him here was Amanda, she said she would take Max to an old church. He thought the old church wasn't as bad as he thought, however, he was greatly shocked by the church's visuals.
Max muttered in his heart. "Does this deserve to be called a church?"
How could he not think so? Max felt that if a strong wind hit the church in front of him, maybe in seconds the building would collapse instantly.
"Max, let's go inside. They must be happy to see us," said Amanda, taking one of Max's arms.
Feeling confused and half-dazed, Max followed Amanda's steps into the church. The two of them walked hand in hand up the steps leading to the main door of the church.
