Chapter 4 - Episode 1-System Introduction (3)

Marcus Santiago was at some high school. He was able to escape the first scenario with his life, but he didn't know where his father was. That is what scared him the most. Marcus Santiago rubbed the back of his neck. He felt hot and stuffy, but for some reason, no one was allowed into the gym of this high school. He didn't know why, but he wasn't going to ask questions. If what that furry creature said was true, then people needed to kill others to survive.

(I'm sorry, Ms. Georgian) he thought. (I didn't want to kill your dog.)

He still remembered that moment.

"The fuck is this," she rasped with phlegm.

"I-I don't know."

"You kids playing stupid games these gaes...?"

"What?"

"Ner' mind ya." She said in a low voice. "Hmmmm..... death.... kill... organisms.... Bah, this is stupid!!!"

"Wait, Ms. Georgian...!! Th-this is--"

"Marcus Santiago," she said. Ms. Georgian spoke in a lucid voice, much more lucid than what anyone thought could be possible. The eyes that were always red from weed inhalation were actually clear for the first time. "Run from yer father..." she muttered.

"What....."

"He ain't a gud man, kiddo. Kill me, Marcus."

"Wha.... no... what are you sa-"

"I don't believe in shit gods or shit thangs, but y'know shit gone get real when spooky holos grow in front of your eyes... less I trip that much...."

"I can't.... kill anyone...." he said softly.

Ms. Georgian shook her head sideways, as if she was disappointed.

"Ya got to read, kiddo. No one said to kill humans... it said 'orgasms'."

"Or-gan-ganisms, you mean..?"

"Yea, whatever. Kill me, Imma dying of cancer anyways."

"Wha...."

Ms. Georgian - who could've looked like some random person's grandma - smiled softly.

"It happens when you smoke several years of life away. When ya try too many thing at a dumb age. It all catches up to ya. Rotting in the insade, kiddo. My undertaker goin come for me, and it ain't goin be some random kid such as yerself."

"I'm sorry, Ms. Georgian!! I'm not a good person. I can't kill anyone..."

With shaking hands, Marcus grabbed the dog on Ms. Georgian's lap. She didn't even flinch. She just kept on smiling, as if she was proud of Marcus. With a frail hand - which was dotted with liver spots - she began to stroke Marcus's cheek.

"Yer a gud man, Marcus. Find a good person..." she rasped.

With those last words, Ms. Georgian looked resigned to her fate. She leaned back into her seat, and stared at the night sky. It was still crowded with smog though. Stars weren't in to been seen.

[Constellations of youth and sexiness are jeering at Incarnation "Ms. Georgian" for her weakness.]

With trembling hands, Marcus Santiago ran through the trailer park, with a small dog in his clutches. He tried to escape from the dome, but it was impregnable. He circumvented the entire area, but he couldn't find a way out. He wanted to find a way to escape but-

"MARCUS SANTIAGO!!!" a gruff, venomous voice yelled.

His father. Marcus couldn't find a place to escape. This mini dome that surrounded his park was impregnable.

"FUCK!!! DON'T MAKE ME DO THIS!!!" he begged. He looked to the sky, as if he was asking for a prayer.

He began to pound his fist against the ground and at the blue dome that surrounded the trailer park. Sadly, a sinister force appeared behind him.

"Tick and tock, Mr. Santiago. Choose now. Or die."

That's how Marcus Santiago survived the First Scenario.
