As Alexander fell asleep in his room, a shadow suddenly appear on his bedside. The person is clad in black suit with two daggers on its back "Master! I promised to the lord that I will protect you but I failed last time. This time, even I burn my life force away, I will protect you with all my might!" A glint of longing and desperation can be seen on person's eyes and as it mutters those words like a prayer and disappear from where it standing.
When the person disappeared, Alexander opens his eyes and sighed and continue with his sleep. In the morning, he woke up from the sound of knocking on the door "sir Alexander, someone is looking for you." Said by Candice who is on the other side of the door. Alexander ready himself and walkout from his room, as he make his way to the inn's lounge, he saw a familiar figure who is clad in black armor.
When he saw Alexander Shadow one was about to introduce himself but he was cut-off by Alexander "You're that person with old Merck, right?" He asked. Shadow one smiled "yes I am, master Alexander. I am called Shadow one." He bows as he introduced himself. Alexander nodded "then who are the two hiding in the ceiling?" He continuously asked. Shadow one was shocked on how Alexander found out shadow zero and the other person as the concealing technique that they use is a bronze rank technique that even a Gold ranker cannot detect them unless that have a sensory technique.
The two of them appeared "I'm sorry for the late introduction, I am Shadow zero and this is shado-" as shadow zero was about to introduce Alexander gestures him to stop. Alexander stare at the person very hard like he was trying to stare at the person's soul then he smiled "Alice, please stop coming to my bedside. You always do that since we we're little." He said. Alice gasped as Alexander mentioned this and tears drops on her eyes "MASTER!!" she launch a hugging tackle to Alexander and Alexander brace himself for this attack. "Alice was so happy that master can now remember her huhuhu!" She exclaimed. As Alexander power grows, there was some memories that sync im his mind and one of those memories was the childhood memories of this body when he reached the Blue rank.
After the touching reunion, Shadow one coughed "Master Alexander, the reason of our visi-" before he finished his sentence and large sack suddenly appear and was hurled towards him. As he catch the sack, he felt that the sack was very heavy and as he was about to ask "that's worth around 2 tons of wild meat and here's a ton of Elemental beast meat and tell the Old trio to come here at Snow Mountain Kingdom if they have time." Alexander said as he hurled another cloth sack to Shadow Zero. "Thank you very much master Alexander! We'll inform the lord Merck about it." They bow in gratitude "Also we'll leave Shadow Ten here so thay we can communicate with you master Alexander." Said by Shadow Zero
Both of them went on their way, as they make their way back to the Shadow headquarters "hey Zero, do you think lord Merck and out brothers will be happy with these meats?" As Shadow One was about to bring out the wild meat, he was stopped by shadow Zero "not here, let's wait until we reach the shadow headquarters." Shadow one nodded and they hasten their movements.
After a few hours of travel, they arrive in an eerie forest. In this forest, an eerie aura is constantly being released that makes those who accidentally stumble upon this place would be in fear or enfeeble. Shadow Zero and shadow one proceed inside the forest and as they make their way at the center of the forest, there is a thatched hut. Shadow Zero swing open the door and inside of the hut, it is empty. Shadow Zero looked around and walk towards to the left and touches a trap switch and upon pressing it, a trap door open on the floor.
As they go down from the trap door, in the dark tunnel and reach the end of it, a big hall with a big white table in the middle of the room and three seats that is being occupied by three men in dark robes. The two kneel down "my lord! We are back." The man in the middle nodded "Have you made contact with th boy?" He asked "yes my lord! He also provide us these wild beast meat and elemental beast meat." The two put the two sack on the table. When the three men saw these, they were shocked as the larger sack of meat is emitting elemental energy. "Are you sure that this are not all elemental beast meat?" Asked by the man on the left who has bandages on his head, face and seemingly one of his limb was severed.
The two was confused at the question of the man and nodded "yes we double checked it and the larger sack is wild beast meat and the smaller one is the elemental beast meat." They reiterated. The man on the right furrowed his brows and sigh "I can feel a yellow rank beast energy on this large sack and a more powerful energy on the other. I believe it should be around middle or peak blue ranking beast." He explained. The two was startled on the information that they just heard and a glint of excitement can be seen on their eyes.
If Alexander is here, he would be able to recognize these three men. In the middle is Merck, full name Merckocious the Shadow hunter, then on the left side is Lars, full name Larsentinel the ancient brewmaster and on the right is Grease, full name Greasewold the world smith and together, they are the legendary trio who swept the three empires on their prime.
"Sigh, that kid really outdo himself in hunting this beasts." Merck said "haha! We'll that how should be youth is, being hot blooded." Grease commented while laughing "hopefully, the kid can help me brew something to fix me. I already sacrifice my life just to get this royal honey and the herbs that is required for this concoction." Said by Lars. As the three old men talked about Alexander, shadow zero coughed "My lord, master Alexander said that if you have time, you can visit him at the snow mountain kingdom." When the three heard it, their eyes lit up "alright! Make the preparation, we will be leaving at dawn." Merck instructed. The two bowed and vanished from where they are bowing. The three also stand up and go to their separate ways to prepare as well.
