As Alexander thinking how to escape his predicament, the Manticore suddenly jumped on him. "tsk. Blink!" Alexander immediately teleported at the door of the chamber. Alexander took out some healing agents to regain some energy. He also eat the remaining raw wild beast meat. "hmm… even though it has only a sliver of elemental energy, it should be enough." As he continuously evading the Manticore, he is eating the raw meat and some healing agents. "should be enough." He ready himself and circulate all of his energy in his feet and fist. He also release his 6 life times worth of killing aura. When the Manticore felt the killing aura increase, it become vigilant and stopped attacking Alexander.
"F*cking beast I will kill you!" as he said it, his killing aura increased once again by another life time. The Manticore eyes suddenly gleamed and prepare itself to counter attack. As Alexander kept releasing his killing aura, his black hair is slowly turning into darkish red. Then Alexander, once again increases his killing aura by another lifetime and his eyes turned red and black around it. "You beast! I will let you have a taste and thousand suffering!" then he increases his killing aura once again by another life time. As of now his killing aura is already worth 9 life times. As it reach to this point, the Manticore is now frozen in fear. As alexander is reaching at the boiling point of the 10th life time worth of killing aura "Ding! Warning, the host is approaching danger zone. There will be a 50% chance of backlash if host tried to break through his 10th life time. Would you like to use the gold to reduce the chance of backlash?"
When Alexander heard it, although the killing aura is somewhat affecting his outer appearance, his mind is still clear as water. He gritted his teeth and said to the system to proceed. "Ding! Will be using 50 gold coins to reduce the backlash to zero percent. The host can now proceed in breaking through! Good luck!" then Alexander once again intensified his killing aura as he madly circulating his elemental energy inside his body. "Prepare yourself to feel a thousand deaths!" then the 10th life time killing aura exploded and his hair turned into pure crimson red. The Manticore was frozen solid in place with fear and even it wants to run, it cannot move. "OVERSKILL: TRUE INSTANT PRISON MURDER!!!" As he shouted, he dash forward to the Manticore and a suddenly the whole chamber turned into an abyss of darkness and after a few seconds the abyss was gone and the chamber turned back to normal and Alexander was already turned his back to the Manticore and a word 'Heaven' appear on his back. "hmhp! Know your place!" As the killing aura disappear, his appearance has gone back. As for the Manticore corpse, has become a meat paste. Even it's beast core was turned into dust. "Ding! When Alexander read the description, he was shocked and dumbfounded at the same time. As he exit the cave, he notice that it's already dark but before he return, he needed to complete his mission first hence he roam the forest for a couple more hours. As he roam the forest, he was able to hunt another yellow ranked beast. "Mission complete! Rewarding 40 silvers per head. Rewarding complete… please check your panel." Alexander was happy with his harvest today hence he decided to go return to take a rest.
In the cave where Alexander fought the Manticore, a few bronze guard and the silver guard captain is investigating the chamber. "hmm… I can still feel the ominous aura here." The silver guard muttered. "ca-captain! Please come over here. There something we would like you to check!" said by one of the bronze guard and lead the way. When the silver guard saw a blob-like corpse. As he touch the blob-like corpse, he closed his eyes and think for a moment. After a couple of minutes, he slowly open his eyes. "a peak red ranked Manticore and it was killed in the most brutal way that even its core was turned to dust." A hint of fear can be seen in his eyes. He immediately instructed one of the bronze guard to send a letter to the kingdom to secure this cave have this area in the forest be closed as the culprit for the Manticore's demise is still at large.
As for Alexander, another week has passed and this past week, he continuously hunt for beast everyday for easy gold. As he checks his status panel;

As he read through the mission board, he notice a new mission. "taking in an apprentice?" he ponders for a moment then a kid comes up to his mind. "maybe I can take that kid as my apprentice." Alexander said to himself and began his hunt again today.
After hunting for today, he accumulated another 4 gold. As it is already getting dark, he decided to go home for now and take out the two kids once again. Arriving at Merck's house, he saw Kratos guarding at the front door while Lulu is just resting at the sofa. Alexander smiles "Lulu, Kratos, come! We will be having dinner at the restaurant." When the two kids heard it, Lulu immediately stand up and run towards to Alexander and hug his legs then she look at him smiling "you're the best big brother!" Alexander patted her head and the three of them took off to the restaurant.
