Greek tragedy has the historic point that contain two elements i-e choral and dramatic. The choral was draen up in rectangular form and its movement was based on arrangements. Its principal dance was of dramatic character. The number of person in the chorus was twelve of the plays of Aeschylus and increased to fifteen by Sophocles. Until the 5th century, Choruses continued to form a part of tragedies.

The principles part of Greek Tragedy was:

a) the prologue-presentation of the tragedies topic delivered through a monologue of dialogue

b) orchestra was oppose to the first song that accompanied to the entrance of the chorus. These songs was originally reflection of emotion invoke by the previous episode.

Greek tragedy was a religious background. In some time, the chorus showed the survival of the magic dance, planned to aviod plague, bring rain etc. Tragedy was the presentation of a single critical situation. aeschylus intriduced the idea if the divine will that shape the events. Sopholcles added the further elements of the human will but less powerfull than the divine will.
