[Ruforal town] [Life and Death Arena]
The town is busting with Heroes and people. They came to witness the fight between the new Limitless Class and the Prominent Eon, The Scarlet Maiden.
The arena was, crowded with Heroes and Elders of the noble families. The Butcher ordered the guards to check every person who entered the arena. He also stationed his army around the whole town to prevent any outside interference.
"Attention, everyone," the announcer screamed.
Hearing the announcer, the crowd became silent and put their attention on the arena.
"As you all know, the importance of today's battle," the announcer pointed his hand towards the VIP section, "We have some special guests."
Everyone was curious to know the identity of the special VIPs.
"Let me introduce me to the one and only supreme leader of the Rosewarth Family," the announcer bowed in respect, and so does everyone present in the arena, "Supreme Leader Valliant Rosewarth."
People were shocked. For the first time in fifty years, the Leader of the Rosewarth family came in front of the people.
Valliant Rosewarth is the man who sits on top of the Rosewarth family. From his looks, no one will be able to identify his age. Although his hair was grey, he retained his youthful looks and his body. No one knows how strong he is.
"Let me warn you all," Leader Valliant Rosewarth ordered, "Do not interfere with today's fight."
A vast wave of cold aura filled the whole town. The assassins who were hiding in the shadows began to tremble. They knew from the voice and the aura emitted from Leader Valliant Rosewarth that the moment they set their foot inside the arena, they would die a painful death.
"Now now, don't scare them," a calm and elegant voice of a woman came from the VIP section.
A vibrant scarlet color essence filled the arena. From the flash of scarlet color, a young girl came out. Her face, was covered with a red piece of cloth. Her eyes were glowing with red essence. Her hair was so vibrant that it looked burning in red flames. And, she wore an elegant bright red dress.
"You old hag," Leader Valliant Rosewarth spoke in annoyance, "My words even apply for you too."
"Old hag?" the lady spoke in annoyance, "Don't worry, I won't interfere and, try to stay in your seat, you might be surprised."
The cold aura dispersed and, the crowds took a breath of relief.
"She is..... she is the Leader of the Scarlet Family," the announcer screamed in surprise, "Lady Alice, The Fire Queen."
Just like Valliant Rosewarth, everyone bowed to pay their respect to Lady Alice.
"Bring the contenders in," Lady Alice ordered.
In front of the two Supreme Leaders, the crowd didn't even make a single noise.
The announcer went up to the large balcony up the stairs and announced, "Contenders enter the arena."
A streak of red essence entered the arena. In a blink of an eye, The Scarlet Maiden stood on the fighting platform with two long swords in her hand.
The people wanted to cheer for their favorite Eon but, they didn't dare to do so in front of the two supreme leaders.
A chilling cold aura covered the arena. The temperature became bitterly cold and, snowflakes began to fall from the sky. People shivered and, a feeling of uneasiness filled the life and death arena.
The ground, the trees, and the grass around the arena became frozen in ice.
Everyone knew the reason behind the uneasy feeling. The aura this time is a thousand times stronger than that came from Leader Valliant Rosewarth.
People didn't even make a nose and kept trembling in fear. Their instinct was telling them not to move or look behind their back. Or else their life will end in an instance. It looked like death itself came crawling back from the nether realm to freeze them to death and, all they could do was accept their fate.
Lucas appeared on the platform with a gust of bone-chilling wind.
"Since all the prominent figures are present here today," Lucas spoke in a cold tone, "Allow me to ask a simple question to Valliant Rosewarth."
Hearing Lucas taking Supreme Leader's name without any respect, the guards wanted to punish Lucas but failed to do so in front of his oppressing power.
"If an Elemental class can become a Supreme Leader, then why did my father get outcasted from the family for challenging you?" Lucas yelled pointing his finger at Valliant Rosewarth.
"Boy, don't get ahead of yourself," Leader Valliant Rosewarth tried to cancel out Lucas's aura but failed to do so.
"Don't bother," Lucas scoffed, "Very soon, I will take back what rightfully belongs to my family."
"Take back what yours?" Lady Alice laughed, "Then, try to survive today's life and death fight."
Lucas noticed Lady Alice and laughed, "How are your teeth, my Lady?"
Lucas, in his previous life, fought against Lady Alice. She awakened the power of a vampire.
Back then, Lady Alice terrorized villages and towns. Until one unlucky day, she tried to drink Lucas's blood. He caught her and broke her four teeth which she used to bite and suck blood. After that incident, she vanished into the thin air.
Lucas's words took Lady Alice by surprise, "You, Who are you?"
Lucas smiled, "Let me first try to survive then, we might talk, my Lady."
After hearing their conversation, "You know him?" Leader Valliant Rosewarth inquired.
"I remember that mocking tone," Lady Alice shivered as she remembered old pain, "But, this is impossible."
Lady Alice stood up and looked towards the Scarlet Maiden, "She is in big trouble."
"Surrender Scarlet," Lady Alice screamed in fear of losing her child, "Don't hurt her Weapon Master."
Everyone was confused after hearing Lady Alice's scream.
"After coming this far, you want me to surrender," Scarlet Maiden bursts in anger, "Never, my pride won't allow me."
"What are you doing?" Leader Valliant Rosewarth spoke in anger.
"You stupid man," Lady Alice screamed, "That man Lucas is..."
"Enough," Lucas screamed, interrupting Lady Alice, "Don't get in my way."
Lady Alice stopped speaking any further. A glint of fear appeared in her eyes.
"Then, shall we begin?" Lucas looked towards the Scarlet Maiden.
"Let me see your strength," The Scarlet Maiden pulled out her long swords and used a skill in an instance, [TWIN BLADE CROSS EDGE].
