The ice cold air whipped my hair around wildly distorting my view of what's in front of me while running deeper into the dark, snow covered forest away from the invisible danger that seems to have engulfed my dream realm for the past month, "we smell you little wolf and cant wait to capture the prize that you are" they said coming from all around in unison which made my stomach turn hearing the wickedness laced in their voices, it was a sound that was unmistakable to those who heard the wicked ones, who live in the dark forest before. I stopped abruptly swinging my head trying to pinpoint where the sounds are directly coming from , with no luck I phased into my wolf allowing her to take the wheel for survival and we ran faster than we ever ran through the forest trying to find a high point to have a little advantage on the enemy so we know who and what exactly we're facing. Quickly spotting a cliff with a small cave to hide in for the upper hand with surprise and a small river we rolled around the water washing our fur allowing the river whisk away our scent down stream we made our way back to the cliff while messing up our tracks so the enemy had trouble trying to tell our direction. Once in our spot amongst the darkness of the cave awaiting our enemy for what seems like hours we hear the crunch of fresh snow of someone creeping around making way to the opening of the cave. My wolf taking battle stance and sending a quick prayer to the Luna Goddess for strength comfort and protection , our body lowered to the ground ready to pounce at our foe for the kill, "My Luna" a deep raspy unknown voice said calmly in our head. That's how my dreams end every night over the course of the month, a part of me wishes to never sleep so I don't have to ever go through the turmoil of feeling in that dream but a part me wants to endure it just to hear his voice say my new favorite words, my mate..but there were two other's pretenses lingering in my mind this night which caused me to shoot out my bed in sweat..the gift of three mates was impossible...until now that is.
