As the eastern ocean breeze kept the humid air from being unbearable, Youden himself could care less. With the most powerful bomb in all of this planet's existence being created under his domain, he already was forming his stockpile for later use in the planned global war, and this was only after three days of the second test. However, even with all that power, there was one major flaw. Even with the advancements in his army and aviation compositions, the one sector that was underdeveloped was the navy itself. Youden knew that no later than early December would he begin the conquest against the world, and that the navy itself wouldn't be up to par, at least on a worldly level. From a regional aspect, it would work with its forty total ships and several hundred landing crafts, but against tens of nations of varying power was a different story to consider.
Which was why he was here in the first place at the Franport expanded docks, as the man stared at a nearly finished battleship, the OKS Terron. Apparently, it was named after one of his navy commander's fathers, who was always fond of the ocean and shipbuilding. At least that man got his wish, whoever named it, Youden had to grin as he continued to watch the work. Even through his observation, he could see one of the main shipbuilders moving his way, looking to discuss something important with him. Oh so exciting for him to discuss with.
"Good afternoon, sir." the man saluted, with Youden returning the favor. "I can see a face of approval a mile away."
"Ah, you caught me. It's a beauty." Youden could see the large-caliber cannons being lifted to be installed. "What size are those?"
"Three-hundred and fifty millimeters caliber, sir. If not, the strongest naval cannons in the world if I'm not mistaken. It takes about one hundred days just to craft three of those cannons, and with nine needed for this ship, it's the reason why the project has taken us more than three years to finish." the builder explained.
"I understand, it'll change the way we are seen throughout the world." Youden sighed with relief. "May I ask a question?"
"Of course, sir."
"Let's say once we took over most of the world under our control, what would you do if you were no longer needed? As if there would be no naval supremacy to fight over?"
It took the older man to consider such a question, as Youden continued to look at the construction of the hard-working men lifting up steel and machinery with their powers or assisted tools. It was quite the sight even still until the builder interrupted his thought of bliss.
"I think I would still continue building ships. It's something that I've been doing for most of my life and can't imagine giving that up. I wouldn't have to build something so destructive, but maybe something like for cargo or fishing? That would be nice for a change."
With those words, Youden simply nodded back, as the pair continued to stare at the busy dockyard. Only mere months until the world's greatest conflict would erupt. And Youden had no care about whether it would break or unite them, as long as he got what he wanted. His entire mission and purpose would be completed through this major objection, and if that was ever reached, then the freedom he sought for millions would be given just as he saw fit.
