Youden stared at the large gathering of leaders around him, discussing policies before the big meeting began. Just about all of the leaders avoided him, quite literally, as there was at least a solid foot space between him. He knew he was feared, but if he didn't begin discussing among the other nations, it would weaken his point of justification. Looking around, he made contact with a woman who took a sip of the Fuishem Brandy, by herself. Youden wasn't going to lie, she looked seductive and attractive, even though they looked similar in age, but he wasn't going to be fooled that easily.
As he approached her, he watched as the woman looked at his body, before continuing her drink.
"If it isn't Youden Qey?" the woman smirked at him in a pleasing way, no doubt trying to tug at his emotions. "I'm surprised you came here this year."
"I have my reasons." Youden paused for a moment, trying to figure out her name, "Anyway, I'm going to get straight to the point, I need-"
"You want me to work with you, don't you?" she said slyly, causing Youden to tense.
"Um no, rather a trade agreement, yeah." Youden came up with.
"You really think you would come to a boring meeting like this, for that?" the woman waved around to the leaders. "We both know why you're here."
"Fine, I'm looking for support." Youden spoke a bit louder.
"Support for what?" A ruler overheard, approaching the pair.
"A trade deal between their carrs." the woman spoke for him, to which the man walked away in boredom. "Your welcome."
"So you'll have my support?" Youden asked again.
"In exchange for something special." she grinned back at him, attempting to grab the tie he was wearing.
"And that's enough." he swatted her hand away, before looking towards Eriwan Gunte, who waved him over.
"Youden! I'm glad you didn't lie to us!" the man held his hand out for him to shake. "Welcome!"
"Of course, I wouldn't lie." Youden smiled, hiding his disgust, "This is a very important event after all!"
"Speaking of which, it's going to start soon. Best get settled." Eriwan checked his watch, as people began to traverse towards the conference room.
Moving quickly, Youden didn't bother wanting to stay by Eriwan or the woman, as he squeezed himself inside. The space was much larger than he anticipated, with the entire room being as large as a five-story building. There were rows upon rows of seats connected to long desks, designated for each nation. Youden noted that they were in alphabetical order, and approaching the K's, he could see his nation's name.
As he reached his seat, there were already two people next to him, both also kingdoms in their names, to which slid as far away from him as possible. Was he really that much of a threat? Youden had to be cautious, as these people were going to ruin his case to the best of their abilities. It took almost an hour for everyone to get settled and counted, but alas Youden stared at the five founding nations, which held much of the power among the conference.
"It is with great honor that the 120th International World Conference Of Nations can commence. With the official counting being 142 of out 178 nations appearing at this year's meeting, I would like to start with the most severe and important issue at hand." an extremely accented man said, to which Youden could barely understand what he was saying. "That issue is the complete occupation of Ioret, which is being conducted under the Kingdom of Youdenia, ruled by Youden Qey. Before any counterarguments form, you may express your reasoning and thoughts behind so now."
Everyone in the room turned their head towards Youden. This is what many of the nations came here to hear from, as Youden stood up to look at everyone around him. It was time to reason with the world or have the world reason with him with war and bloodshed.
