Chapter 112 - New Leadership From Here

Kurt got out of the carr, leaving behind his cloak. He wouldn't be needing it for a while, and instead replaced it with a thicker coat. He really underestimated the temperature on top of the mountains, as they thankfully got out in less than an hour. But now it was time to do what Youden commanded him to do.

He walked towards the sight of a large camp and a town ahead, compared to the picture he was shown from a few years ago, as he could see fighting still occurring. These people were really struggling to take out a petty village with the equipment they had?

Marching through, he looked around until he found a wooden shack, most likely the temporary headquarters of the operation. He let himself in without permission, as inside was the general leading the operation.

"Your time is up here, old man. Youden wants you to return back to Yodenio City." he told him, with the man looking up.

"Who let you in here?" the general asked, before Kurt walked directly up to him. "And show some respect!"

"You dare disrespect the leader's wishes!" Kurt yelled at him.

"I'm going to call him right now." the general asserted, dialing the number on the caller.

Kurt watched, as a few moments later, the general's expression changed to a more serious manner. Without hesitating, he hanged up the machine and just stared at the smiling man.

"I see you were right. Never got this information. I understand what must be done. All the papers are out for you to look at, despite you probably having no experience once so ever." the general grumbled.

"Did you disrespect me?"

"No! Never. I'll be on my way." the general shuffled out the building.

Kurt just stared as the general quickly closed the door, before taking over the desk the general had just occupied. He didn't remember how long it would take for the army to arrive, but for now, he better show Youden he didn't regret his choice. Let's hope that Academy really was useful, Kurt believed, as he got to work.
