Jamal packed up his final belongings as he stared out the window for the final day here. The town was beginning to get colder, as the fall was beginning to turn to winter on this cold November day. He could see a small boat that would take them to Suruthum. Eager to leave, he grabbed the bag with everything he had and stared at the room for the final time. It was nice while he was here, and he would surely miss this place. Ready to go, he opened the door and closed the door behind him.
Already in the kitchen as everyone else, with their belongings, packed. Ula was making sure they had everything they needed before they left, as Fonda and Ula were waiting around, discussing the new place.
"You got everything that's needed," he asked her.
"Yeah, even this," she said, putting a vial in his hands.
"Where did you find this?" he began to ask.
"You can explain how you took on Youden with that once we're on the boat. But you beat him so it's all good."
Looking at the vial in his hand, he just grinned. She was right. Without it, Youden probably would have killed them all, and he would probably be dead alongside them. He placed it on the table and looked around at the home one last time.
"I'm going to miss this place, even if it was temporary." he sighed.
"Me too, it was so comfy," Fonda commented with Brat agreeing.
"Well, let's go before we miss what we've been waiting for," Ula said, beginning to grab the bag she brought before Jamal grabbed it in time.
"I got it. Don't worry about it," he promised.
Smiling, she led them out of the house, where people were cheering around them. Jamal waved at them all as they made their way down to the docks, soaking in the fame, before heading to the desolate nation. He really enjoyed this place and hoped when he returned it would look good.
"Yo, Jamal." Zim called from his house.
Jamal looked at him from below in surprise. He didn't think he lived this close to the coast.
"Sorry about everything, but you were right and we doubted you. Heh, thanks for saving our lives, man. When you come back, we'll all owe you one, I promise."
Jamal just nodded in agreement, as Zim went back into the house. So be it. They were close to the docks now, where he could see Namo standing in front of their boat.
"It's a pleasure to see you one final time Jamal, and once again thanks for everything." he greeted him, bringing his hand out.
Jamal just stood in place for a second, before shaking it in surprise. He was really getting praised by the Leader of Saputa. It was an honor.
"For help defending the city and slowing down their invasion, and more importantly, weakening Youden for him to flee," Namo began to say with cheers of joy in the background, "I'm giving you the highest honor medal one can receive, The Medal Of Victors!"
A guard moved next to Namo, who handed him a plush box. Thanking her, Namo opened the box for Jamal to see a shiny gold medal inside. His eyes lit up with pride, as Namo took it out and placed it over his head. The crowd was behind him and cheered him on as fireworks were launched into the sky in celebration.
"May we see you again Jamal, and when you do return, I can't wait to have you lead my army," he told him, before moving away for him to go.
"Wow, you're incredible," Brat noted as they finally reached the boat, and the dockmaster checked their documents needed to travel.
"I suppose so. I don't know what to sa-" he began to say before Hops got outside the boat, as he was already inside.
"Your welcome." Hops told him.
"Yeah, without the vial we all would be dead," Jamal added, helping Ula into the boat.
"Yeah, you have a lot of explaining to do," she said, once she took a seat.
Sorry, Boom, guess all secrets can't be kept forever. He sighed and began to tell them the story of the vials as no one else got on, and they began to leave the docks to Suruthum, the people cheering him as they moved further and further away.
