The tall guy dragged his hand down his face and stretched his eyelids with his fingers. He looked back down at the boy in front of him. "The name's Guo Niu. How old are ya kid?"
[Name: Gou Niu

The message was different from what he was used to. The flowers and sparkles weren't seen and the message wasn't taking up half of his vision. Ye Delun's interest in the man rose after seeing the possible entertainment in his short bio.
"I'm 21." He replied. Only a small flicker of surprise flinted in Guo Niu's eyes, but it was gone in the next second. He exhaled a long sigh and waved for Ye Delun to follow him. "Whatever. You're hired, now come with me." He moved to the door behind the counter and walked through. Ye Delun followed behind him.
Guo Niu reached his hand into a random box at the side and pulled out a random shirt. "It's been a while since I've seen another guy around here. Was starting to think those girls ate them all." He gave the shirt a look and compared it to Ye Delun. After finding it satisfactory, he tossed it at him. "Put this on, no employee of mine is walking around in that." He eyed the blanket Ye Delun was wearing. "Kids nowadays always walk around so confidently. Their confidence is burning my eyes, no old man like me needs to see that." He grumbled while he dug around in the box a little more and pulled out a pair of shorts. "They're way too small for you, but the drawstrings should help."
"Thank you." Ye Delun said. He took the clothing and didn't hesitate to remove the blanket and put on the clothes. Guo Niu gave an annoyed sigh and walked away. He quietly mumbled, "What the hell's wrong with kids these days."
Ye Delun didn't pay any attention to the man and tied the short's drawstrings as tight as they could go. "Those girls didn't cause you any trouble did they?" Guo Niu asked from a different room. "No." Ye Delun simply answered. He didn't think they did anything wrong.
"Well watch out from now on. Some of those women are savages." He walked back into the room once Ye Delun was done clothing himself. "I would know." He finished. His hand ran through his hair in annoyance.
"Now come on, let me give you a quick show around." He motioned at Ye Delun to follow. "That room we were just in was the showroom. That's where I'll be spending most of my time." He moved back into the room he was in just before. "This one's the one you'll be."
The room was relatively large and filled with shelves. They were stacked with miscellaneous items from swords, to boxes of potions with unknown effects, and surprisingly, kitchen utensils. Ye Delun was confused on who exactly would buy any of these things. "This is the storage room. Where we keep all of our stuff." He moved farther down the room and took a turn at one of the shelves.
Ye Delun was faced with a huge amount of piled boxes. Boxes upon boxes. Stacked in piles taller than the shelves. "Business has been pretty good lately so there's a lot more than usual." He picked the inside of his ear with his pinkie and pointed towards a clear area. "You can separate them by the area. Just look at the destination on the box and it'll tell ya."
He took one last look at Ye Delun's scrawny figure and placed his large hand on his shoulder. "...good luck." He then walked back into the showroom and left Ye Delun all to himself.
Ye Delun watched Guo Niu's back reside from view and looked back at the heap of boxes. A drip of sweat rolled down from his forehead.
Even though he didn't want to, Ye Delun did the work anyways. He had to scour through the land of cardboard to find boxes that were small enough for him to move. He tired himself out after around five rounds of maneuvering around boxes. His own sweat seeped through his new shirt. His hair stuck to his forehead.
Guo Niu came back into the room a while later. Ye Delun was pathetically pushing a box across the room. He didn't give Guo Niu a glance and continued pushing the box. Guo Niu looked at the couple of small piles of boxes that Ye Delun was able to move. He scratched his cheek and looked a little impressed. He hadn't thought that he would have been able to do much, but he was presently surprised. He walked up to Ye Delun and effortlessly picked up the box and moved it to where he wanted it. "Kid, it's about time you head back." He told Ye Delun.
Ye Delun looked at the man who took the box away from him. Although most of him was impressed by the man's display of masculinity, he was also a little confused.
'If he can move them so easily, then what's the point of me being back here...?' He blankly stared at the tall man, slightly annoyed. "Alright." He said. He adjusted his shirt, it felt uncomfortable as it stuck to his skin. He followed Guo Niu out of the room.
"Here you go, kid." Guo Niu said to him as tossed a water bottle in his direction. Surprisingly, Ye Delun was able to catch it with both of his hands. He nonchalantly drank out of the bottle.
"Take this too, I'll give you a little more since you impressed me." He gave Ye Delun two gold coins. Guo Niu ruffled his sweaty hair and nudged him outside the door. "Now head out. I gotta close up."
"Ok." He said. He gave the man a wave. "Goodbye, thank you for the gold."
"Yeah, yeah." He waved off Ye Delun's appreciation. "Make sure to come back tomorrow." And with that, he closed the door and left Ye Delun outside.
Ye Delun made sure to hurry back with the money for the day, the water bottle from Guo Niu, and the blanket he brought with him. He speed-walked through the metal corridor and blended himself in the crowd in the elevator. And with the help of the pink guidelines, made it back to his room.
The room was just the way he left it. The lights were off and the beam of light still passed through the crack in the curtains. He laid his exhausted body onto his bed and closed his eyes to sleep. As his conciseness faded away, Ye Delun heard the familiar sound of the system.
