Just after our plans, we evacuated the villagers to make them safe. We are preparing for a war, a surprise war! I will change things, and make them right! Fitting to what I believe that helps the people live better.
I stretched my arms and rode on the back of my Dark Lesser Arachne Blessed Servant. The hairy fur touched my skin. It's soft despite how creepy it looks. It's like I'm riding a moving house-sized thing. I can see that my position elivated.
"Your Majesty, my comrades are now ready. Shall we start moving?" I heard Olivia saying her remarks. I noticed that she took her spider form. I mean, the arachne form. Her spiky legs give her a creepy and intimidating appearance. Even though Olivia has a sweet yet strong face, you can't underestimate her.
I tilt my head and turn towards her position. I smiled slightly and nodded. "Yes. Let's give them what they want. They hurt my neighbors? I'll hurt theirs too."
"Now! My children, don't hurt someone who's scared of you, except nobles! If they are nobles, kill them. If they are commoners, spare them. I can't judge them one by one, so kill the nobles indiscriminately!"
Loud clatters spread through the surroundings. Their chelicerae sounded more like in optimistic and excited manner. Hoo... they really understood me.
"Let's start moving!"
As I watched them from above, I gave them the order to march. My children, let's change the world together. I can't live peacefully in this rotten world.

The city's knights were having a typical day at the watchtower. The weather is fine and sunny, and the air is breezing softly. But that scout called out to his comrades when he saw dark colors emerging from the plains from afar.
The knight squinted his eyes as he waited and continued to observe the moving dark colors. At first, he thought it was a wave of black water, but when the image started to become clear. There were small black spiders but he was taken aback at the giant moving spider. It was alsmot 5 meters tall.
"Shit! Monster raid! Black Giant Spiders incoming!"
The scouts were terrified as they rang the bell and delivered the message to every knight they came across. From left to right, the giant wall became unorganized as everyone took their weapons.
Other knights also ran into the adventurers' guild to ask for assistance from the adventurers. Each of them shined their eyes as they heard from their headmaster that they would earn 5 silvers per kill.
"Please. We must act quickly because the monsters are not slowing down. "
The nearby knights also ordered the soldiers at the barracks to prepare and warned all of the nobles to flee. They formed a line in an attempt to stop the thousand monsters, but it was too late.
As soon as the sudden subjugation force formed at the front of the wall, the spiders shot their webs at the wall and climbed through it. Almost 50 spiders successfully jumped over the wall.
The eyes of the subjugation force widened as they were taken aback. The monsters are high-intelligence! They were already outwitted. But they appeared not to give up.
The mages gathered their mana as they chanted a fire spell that would eliminate the spiders on the wall.
After the chant, a giant firewall sprouted just beside the concrete wall, making the other spider monsters fall, but half of them survived and passed through the wall.
"Don't worry, there are still knights inside! We must eliminate this wave of monsters first!"
On the other hand, Rena was gritting her teeth as she saw her children fall. She prepared the 2nd evolution spiders, Black Taratect to attack. She made half of the 300 forces move and assist their subordinates.
The knee-tall spider monsters started moving and shooting webs at the subjugation force. Rena had observed a suppression force of at least 500 people. Even though they were up against a small number of foes, they had the mages on their side.
The knights and soldiers drew their swords and started slashing the spiders, but they didn't expect that they were smarter than the previous race of spiders. The Black taratects shoot their thick web on top of their weapon and pulled it, making the men weaponless.
As the rest of the men tried to gather their comrades, the men who had had their weapons stolen began to retreat. But it was pointless because the retreating men were already terrified after seeing the spiders' faces. It was as if they were grinning at the knights and soldiers.
"This is useless! My wage is not enough for this monster! I'm not going to die!"
"Who the hell said that these were spiders?! These aren't spiders! They are stronger than spiders!"
"Mages! Prepare your spells!"
As the men who were retreating lost their composure, the mages in the back line were preparing for another spell that would burn the spiders.
Another ball of fire flew up as soon as they finished their chants. Half of the Black taratects were injured and started to show some weakness.
Rena started to show some pissed expression as she moved her arms once again. She made her Dark Lesser Arachne Blessed Spiders move. All of them were just the same size as humans and also had hard skins. Their hairy fur made their enemies creep and surrender in defeat.
"This is futile. I'm not going to fight! Just kill me!"
The mages began to feel tired from casting so many spells. The faces of the knights, soldiers, and adventurers began to lose energy and make lifeless expressions.
Rena simply smiled as she dismounted from the Blessed Servant she was riding. Her white hair and red eyes glowed and reflected the light as she took a step forward, approaching the suppression force. She grinned once again before speaking.
"Ah... you are just a bunch of weaklings. The noble who ordered to attack my village seemed to be absent. Ah! Maybe he's hiding and quivering in fear!"
As soon as Rena started to talk. The adventurer released a shocked expression as they recognized the lady who was speaking in front of them.
"T-the white young lady... S-she i-is the l-leader of that monsters? Does it mean? S-she is a monster?"
On the other hand, just after the adventurer spoke of his surprise, Rena faced him and smiled with her eyes closed.
"Wrong! We are not monsters, we are ARACHNE!"
"I really don't know what the legal way to invade the land is, or the proper way to absorb the power. But... HAHAHA nevermind that! I'll just kill the nobles. I don't have time to judge them one by one."
Rena stated it several times. "I don't have time to judge them one by one" is a phrase that helps her not to be attacked by her conscience. As Rena knows, she isn't someone who has the right to slay anyone. She's just a reincarnated Humagicus.
Soon, after the city surrendered to Rena's force of spiders, the nobles who were living inside were executed. The wealthiest were the first executed, down to the lowest.
"I'm not really fond of anti-heroes, but hm... I'm starting to like it. What is evil? What is good? It became less distinguishable. Haa... it looks like that next day, I will start moving like inside a kingdom building manga."

After a month, Rena became furious as she was looking at something in the thin air. She kept repeating the word "status," but nothing happened.
Olivia, on the other hand, was concerned about her queen's behavior. Olivia, unable to ignore it, began to inquire about a matter concerning her queen.
"Your Majesty, you have been exclaiming for a while now. May I know what's the reason?"
Rena, calmed herself as she started to noticed her actions. She sighed and sat in the chair in the office she was in.
"My status is not working."
"Is that a huge problem?"
"Yes, it is. I can't reproduce any children anymore."
***
Why?! My Merge System is not working! Why is that? Am I nerfed? Is it because I have too much powers right now? I don't know, I need to know!
What is the reason? Was it because I successfully invaded? Was it a trial mode? I need to observe my children. Are they going to disappear?
I rushed towards the place where my children were staying. From 1st evolution to 4th, I noticed them playing with their webs and they started to lay... eggs?
Are they turning into true monsters? Without even merging them, can they achieve a higher evolution or will they evolve on their own?
Can I see this as a blessing rather than a problem? First of all, I don't understand my system that well. Argh!
Just after my thoughts, my children started to make noise that may deafen your ears. What are they doing?
They approached me as if they were saying something rather than shouting. Are they trying to tell me something? I can't ignore this.
"Shh... slowly, try to make me understand."
"Your Majesty!"
A shout coming from behind me, I saw Olivia making a rushed and breatheless expression. I see... there's really something wrong.
"What is it?"
"Another subjugation force appeared in front of the gate."
"Ah! Let's just kill them."
But I didn't see Olivia respond to that remark. Is she hesitating to tell me the whole report?
"Tell me. What really is it?"
"The subjugation force was at least 10,000 people."
Wha-! 10,000! That's 5 digits number! How will my thousand spiders fight them?
I need to think of a plan! Can we get prisoners of war to fight for us? It's useless. They won't fight their own comrades, of course! Argh! I'm starting to lose my brain!
I guess we don't really have a choice. We will fight! A gamer never backs down. Of course, it should be, but I am not in a game right now. This is real life!
"Let's fight."
Olivia simply nodded with a powerful smile, despite the fact that I sounded hesitant.
I can really trust Olivia.
It's decided. Let's fight and exterminate those pests.
The commoners are living well right now. They were terrified at first, but when they saw the other people were unharmed, they slowly approached me. After all, their previous lord was rotten and tyrant.
Ah... this is really pain in the ass. I can't forgive these bastards.
***
My army is now ready in front of the gate. Surprisingly, the opposing party appears hesitant or respectful. They appear to follow some sort of knightly code of chivalry.
They also declared war and warned us that if we did not meet the surrender conditions, they would attack us. Of course, I won't surrender. They will still kill my children and I will still die. At least, if this is my last moment, I will fight for what I believe in. No fake reviews.
The pregnant taratects and spiders have already evacuated. They should save their race and not face extinction.
Ha... I guess I have already accepted that this will be my last fight. A Hell Mode fight. War! WAR! I will face their challenge.
The other side began to move, and their front line appeared to be made up of shields and spears.
I see... they really don't want to play some brainless attack.
I moved my hands, ordering the Dark Lesser Arachne Blessed Spiders. This fight is 800 versus 30. My first line is already composed of 30 yet can be compared to a thousand forces.
As soon as the opponent's first line started approaching us, my children shot a heavy web that could almost cover a bunch of humans. It can be also seen as net. Those sticky, heavy webs are not something that can be burned by a fire. At least a normal fire.
The web started to hit them and immediately pulled them away. Their shouts started to reach my ears, making my lips grin in delight.
But... I didn't expect the next event. As soon as the spear were pulled, the shieldmen threw a large purple fire.
They... are not shieldmen in reality. They are mages masquerading as shieldmen. My children were attacked by nearly 60 high-ranking mages. And... I heard them screech in pain.
"No! No! This can't be!"
One after another, my Blessed Spiders started to lose their control. And slowly... they lost their lives... I can feel it... their cries...
"Ahhh!!!"
I can't help but let out a war cry! This isn't right! I have already accepted it, but this is too painful! I can't do this.
I almost lost my composure, but when I recalled something, I let out a chuckle.
"Olivia, tell the Blessed Servants to flee with the lower evolutions." Olivia, who was standing next to me, received an order from me that was devoid of energy. I noticed she widened her eyes as she saw my expression.
"Wh-what do you mean, Your Majesty?"
"You haven't heard me? Protect them! Let them flee."
"No, Your Majesty. We will escape together. Don't sacrifice yourself."
Even Olivia started to plead. I just couldn't feel like my previous self anymore. I just can't see this anymore. I thought it would be fun if I saw my enemies die. I thought I had already accepted my fate, but I was wrong. I can't accept my children dying in agony. Their bloods are gushing out. The field was painted with their green blood. I can't take it.
I am enraged at myself. If I just let go of that justice mindset, If I...
I didn't noticed that my tears started to fell down. Memories are coming back to me. My memories from my previous life. They are coming back to me as if they were just yesterday.
"Olivia, there is something I need to tell you. Back in my realm, my previous world, I was an ex-combatant. Our base was attacked and I was left with no choice but to flee. I didn't fight, and as a result, I lost my connection to the world. I immersed myself in fake battles, to at least quench the satisfaction of fighting. The games that use my brain are just my medicine to forget that tragedy. So please, forgive me, let me fight. I can't let them kill my children."
I was wondering when I started them calling as my children? Ah... was it because I felt their embrace? or my fear?
I am stupid. Why did I ever forget that memory, as if it had never happened? I believe I will live a peaceful life, but when I saw the flaws, I didn't have a second to consider jumping into it.
This... stupidity... I haven't even studied the world's system. Just... why would I call myself a gamer? And as a combatant, if I didn't check for more information?
"Your Majesty, please promise me that you will stay alive."
"Stupid. I'm not gonna live with that number of opponent. I will buy you enough time, then the rest is in your care if I don't come back."
I saw Olivia surrendered in my words. That's right. She must obey me.
"That's an order."
Her eyes widened as I used those words as a decree.
I saw my children start to step back and I started stepping out.
This will be my time!
Immediately after I step out, I casted a poison rain. It wasn't actually a skill of my ability, it was just potential.
Poison Pierce, I casted them endlessly as if I was a rain. With this, they won't have any defence.
Thread Manipulation, I made shoot and lock their feet on the ground. They can't move anymore.
Just minutes later, 500 men who were standing in front of me died. I could see their astonished expressions. Of course, it was powerful, but not enough.
I did my combination again and again. Rain started to look like green with purple acid. As soon as it touched their skins, they became heavy-breathing and collapsed. Immediate cardiac arrest was the effect of my poison.
Just a revenge. I can do this! I already killed 4 thousands of them. But... I am losing my energy. I'm not able to keep up with my previous attacks. And they started to be limited. I can only cast a small amount of poison, which is ineffective. My threads just looked like slimy liquid hitting them, as if it didn't even stick to them on the ground.
I am almost at my limit...
I could feel my breath start to gasp. I chased my breath and tried to catch some air, but I had already lost my energy. I don't have enough will to fight.
"The Queen is already tired! Attack her right away!"
So... they know me? They know that I am a queen.
The soldiers fought with my sticky threads. They were able to cut through it and get close to me, close to me.
I don't have any defense. My abilities are very limited and my only remaining ability is to summon my children. It would be pointless if I summoned them. I am already surrounded.
"Queen of Arachne. You're time has come. Do you have any last wish?" I heard a mocking voice coming from a soldier making a smug face.
"Fuckers!"
"Hah! Die!"
As soon as he exclaimed, I just closed my eyes and waited for my death. After 5 seconds... I didn't felt any pain. Ah! Maybe it was a sudden death. Am I already in the afterlife?
I opened my eyes but was astonished at what I saw. This isn't the afterlife. I am still kneeling in the middle of the battle field. They were only silent for a split second as the soldiers surrounding me fell silent.
"Hey. Queen of Spiders? Wanna be my Heavenly Demon General?"
I searched for the calm voice that came from my back. As I found him, he was a young boy who looked like 13-15 years old. With orange hair and blue eyes, I noticed him making a smug face.
"What do you mean?" I attempted to get some answers to my questions.
This boy looks small, but I can feel a strong aura being emitted from his body. Is he a monster? Someone who's stronger than what I imagined? But, he just looked like a human.
"Well. I want to declare myself as a demon lord, but I haven't evolved into one. Maybe I'll just experiment to meet some condition?"
Demon Lord? As in from novels and manga?
"Ah! I forgot to tell you. You don't have a choice. Become my Heavenly Demon General and I will exterminate your enemies for you right now."
I looked back at the subjugation force who only had their numbers half from their previous attack. They appear to move with caution. They were really afraid of this boy.
"Okay. Save me. I'll be your general whatever."
I decided I'd bet my fate on this one. He seems to be powerful enough to save my children.
"Good. Let's start moving."
Just after he stated that... he punched into the air... and the line of his punch... killed the soldiers in that line.
"Just who are you? Are you a demon?"
But my question was answered by, "Hihi," a childish smile.
