Floating in zero gravity was not what Mimi expected. For one thing any equipment she had seen for the space force back in the Northern Empire was huge and bulky. Modified light exo-suits, post atmospheric jets, shuttles, electromagnetic launch stations, etc.
Here though she had a very light helmet with an expanded heads up display system built in, and a slim profile breathing apparatus strapped to her back. The suit itself really was as light as an exo-gi, and allowed her complete freedom of movement. The only difference was that it had gloves and booties attached, and connected directly to the helmet.

Not for long though, because shit can get real up there and this suit is tough but won't protect you from fast moving micro debris that will start tearing holes through you and the suit, or the many kinds of radiation that can break it down."
