Shin didn't really know what happened, but his body knew, after seeing it so many times, not to dodge that punch.
The blow to his forehead was substantial. He staggered back, but kept his footing and kept his eyes on the Colonel.
Not that it mattered, Colonel Hugh was not doing anything.
"Am I going crazy?" He whispered. The man looked shell shocked, and Shin didn't blame him.
Shin was also trying to parse what exactly happened, but knew how dangerous it was to not take this man seriously. 'I'll figure it out later, right now I have to try and not lose too badly.' After the thorough ground and pound he'd just received, or maybe he hadn't anymore, he wasn't sure he was ready to compete against this man on equal terms.
