"We have a small surprise for all of you," General Leto said, standing beside the two soldiers that had just fought in ways that had shocked Shin. One's body was hardened somehow, he looked like a moving jade statue, and the other's hands glowed like fireballs when he fought. Despite the powers though, it all came down to martial arts, and it was spectacular.
'I've always felt confident in my skill, but I've been getting pummeled these last few days,' Shin thought. He wasn't a stereotypical cocky guy, but fighting had definitely been something he was proud of, more than his grades for sure. 'It is kind of exciting to know there is so much more to learn with the Army.' He knew that mastery came with experience, but this was definitely a reminder. 'I wonder how well the Generals fight?' The Generals happened to be the oldest people he knew, though they were all in their late 30s or 40s, except for Hamish.
