Shin looked down at the gun in the mech's hand. "What did this thing shoot?" Photons, lasers, even plasma, all used heat to destroy things, therefore the defensive tech had improved alongside these technologies. High grade materials existed that dissipated heat super fast, or reflected a lot of the energy away, but that didn't mean that defensive tech ignored kinetic attacks.
"It blew his arm off. You're holding a titanic scale rail gun. One handed," Shinja said, a sense of wonder in his voice. "Of course, it makes sense. After all, though the mech is holding it in one hand, it is actually way larger than any man operated sniper rifle version."
