Debbie wasn't like Mimi, with her crazy healing powers and sturdiness. She also wasn't like the coven, those girls had impressive aptitude for magic, but it was much more for spells and summonings. Classic magic.
Debbie didn't have a strong elemental affinity, and couldn't shape shift, but she had own speciality: Battle Magic. Her research and experiments had taught her to create several useful spells and buffs. The regeneration spell was a good example, and it was infused directly into her heart, so she didn't need to keep re-casting it. That was one of the things she learned, the ancient witches were always casting these types of spells onto amulets and armour, and then giving them away!
