Elliot had to travel very far to reach his sanctuary, but familiar surroundings were worth it to him. Plus, he moved so fast he might as well be teleporting. Still, it took him a few days to reach his sanctuary, or the Tomb Lab as he sometimes called it.
It was located deep in the South of the continent, in a place that used to be called America. America had not fared well in the fallout from the Divergence, it had been a nuclear wasteland, so people were reluctant to go there. However, after all of the drama from the Convergence rebellion and the many decades he spent dealing with fallout afterwards, he decided Old America would be the perfect place to create a hidden sanctuary.
His lab was located in North America, and he had been found that way once before, so this time he chose a place he had no ties to.
