Shin tried to be open-minded, and heaven knows he had a reckless streak, but these tribes' people were downright foolish sometimes. He had never met an entire group of people convinced of their ability to overcome any odds. It made him love them in a way, but also worry about their future. 'Though they managed to survive longer than modern humans have, so who is the foolish one really?' He still had a lot to reconcile when it came to understanding the true history of their planet. He knew that it wasn't the Academy that was lying to him, just that the last few generations of humans were truly in the dark about the breadth and depth of the discoveries and cataclysms that have befallen humanity over the last few millennia.
