Somehow Shin found himself traveling through the wilds of the northern continent with a patchwork assembly of several tribes under the banner of the ancient queen. The elders of the Black Tortoise tribe relented and sent a small squad to accompany himself, General Redwine, and the survivors from the underground tribesmen.
Terry led the Black Tortoise squad, and was the equivalent of an army Major. He knew where the Northern Empires' outposts and cities were, as they always sought to avoid them.
The Black Tortoise tribesman also knew all the best hunting grounds and places to avoid along their journey.
They were in a one of the Tribe's portable shelters. It was a deceptively simple looking dome made of a highly technical woven fabric. Shin had watched as they pulled the small square of fabric out, and was impressed when it erected itself after an electrical current was applied.
