Shin did just that. He pulled out his bastard sword and took a few swings at the monster's hide, and confirmed just how tough it was. It wasn't undamaged by the sword though, which surprised him. 'Worst case, I break my sword to hack him apart.'. Then he started firing his blaster at different portions of the monster's body. It seemed pretty resilient everywhere, but he was able to blast those arms off of the top of it. Satisfying but not that useful.
