At first, he was able to just walk down the hall. The klaxxon sound was loud, but this level of the building seemed empty save him. 'I need to find some stairs, or an elevator, I guess?'
The dark cell block hall ended in a heavy looking metal door, but he didn't have to hold back any longer, so he delicately pushed it off its hinges. The metal squealed, but he barely slowed down as he dropped it to the side.
"Stop!" a young soldier yelled. He held a light based weapon of some kind, and was shakily aiming it at him.
"Look son, I don't want to hurt you. In fact, I need your help," the muscular man started. Then he was hit in the chest with a phase modulated blast. It didn't knock him down, that isn't how light based weapons work, but it did burn right through his shirt. And his skin.
"Sorry, sorry… stop, please," the soldier said, nearly convulsing now, his weapon almost forgotten down at his side.
