I could particularly say that I was in woods. There were trees around but it was not a forest.
I had never walked this route. As far as my brain map goes, I was heading to the Headquarters through a long cut. I was going around the middle path. The long cut depressed me. I had walked from one town to another about one hour ago and now I had to follow a bigger route!
My legs stayed strong for the time being but I did not expect to have the same energy till the end. Soon my legs would give up and I would wait at one place to help the Wind Master catch up to me. The route I had taken wasn't like the normal one. It had downfalls and levitated areas. At times I had to do pull-ups to get up to the next level. It seemed like a video game but I was the character inside the game itself.
In a few minutes, I noticed the wind around me blowing faster. In a flash, I turned around, expecting to see Tempest in his transparent form barely visible. At first, I thought I hadn't seen him clearly but then I strained my eyes to watch no one in front of me. The leaves fallen on the ground swayed up slowly. They made sounds that I did not wish to hear.
Then suddenly, I heard someone. "Behind you, idiot!" The voice hissed. In a split second, I grabbed Magnum ready to unsheathe it as I turned around. I saw Tempest face to face with me for a moment. Then I went flying into the distance. Just by raising his hands or doing some gesture, he had thrown me away with his wind power.
I got up immediately and unsheathed my battle-axe. Tempest smiled. "It's of no use. Accept your defeat, nephew." He said. Anger boiled inside me. "I am not your nephew, you transparent monster!" I yelled. Probably not the best insult. "Believe it or not, you sadly are. But not for long. I will kill you and trace down your friends too." He laughed.
"Enough blabbering. Let's get things started, shall we?" I suggested. Tempest flew towards me and I threw my battle-axe. He simply waved off the weapon and it fell on the side. I waited for the correct moment. Just when he reached to attack with his hand doing something (probably creating a cyclone to blast my whole face), I summoned Magnum and held it back in my hand. Tempest probably did not expect that because he looked shocked to see the magic. I smacked his face and ran away from him so that he couldn't retaliate by putting me into a storm.
In the sky, I watched the warship going off into the distance. I did not feel bad though. My friends were out of danger. I got back into the battle. The Wind Master created intense winds with his hands and launched at me. I held my foot even in the gust and raised Magnum, changing its form into a shield. I gritted my teeth while applying all my strength to hold on from flying away. The gust was gone and Magnum changed back into a battle-axe.
I thought that attacking during the intervals between the winds would be the only smart move. I rushed towards Tempest as fast as I could. When I got close, another wave of squalls came at me. I defended myself with the same tactic though it was more difficult with the wind source so close. When it came to an end, I leaped directly on Tempest. During the few seconds I was in the air, I wondered if I would go through Tempest's body as he was wind.
But luckily, he was solid; which did not make sense to me but hey, I'm not complaining! My battle-axe struck his chest and he threw me off. He was wincing in pain and his moves slowed down. I thought this as the opening for my victory and attacked relentlessly. Tempest, being the wind, blocked a lot of my attacks but he couldn't defend for long. His eyes were now furious. But I wasn't afraid. He waved his hands and wind around me intensified. He threw me up in the air and I fell on my back.
In a few seconds, I was again sent up for another round. This time I was smacked on a tree. I needed to think some way to get out of the wind circling around me. "You cannot escape the wind! Nor can you conquer it. I am in charge here!" Tempest declared. That's when it struck me. The Wind Master had created an idea for me unknowingly. I needed to conquer the wind.
That may sound weird with the Wind Master right in front of me. But if I concentrated, I could slow the winds down like I had down before. In between hitting the surface and flying off many times, I closed my eyes and focused. The X-ray mode was turned on. I focused on the wind to slow them down. Tempest would have felt it too because his hands started shaking.
Apparently, my practices in Zantai power had led me to become better than Tempest in that field. He could do nothing as he watched the winds slowing down. When I opened my eyes, I was in in the air. I immediately went for the strike and glided towards Tempest with the Zantai power now unlocked. "Stop it! Zakostroph!!" Tempest screamed. I became so raged, I yelled at the top of my voice as I slashed Magnum, "My name is Blaze Hunt!!!!" Tempest's form melted into the ground. It was weird seeing a transparent body entering the ground.
"Inferno is coming!" Tempest feeble voice spoke as he penetrated the ground. "Let him. I will take care of him too." I replied. And with that, the Wind Master's life came to an end.
