Se-Young sighed finally telling her, about her father and her brother. How she got to know about his condition and how things turned out now. Yoon-Hwa was speechless. “I don’t know if I should really stay with my brother or not. I mean I don’t want him to live in such a shabby place but they would not agree until and unless I will move in with them as well.” Se-Young was now hitting her head slightly with the table.
“Hey~~ don’t do this.” Yoon-Hwa stopped her. “What is the problem, are you afraid to face your father too often?” Yoon-Hwa worriedly asked but Se-Young just bit her lip not knowing the actual reason herself.
Was it because of her father or because of Jung-Nan or maybe something else? “But you need to tell you Mrs. Shim. She might not feel good if you are going to tell her on the day when you will be moving out.” Yoon-Hwa said and Se-Young sighed while ruffling her hair. “Or if you are worried about leaving Mr. Shim then just marry him. Problem solved.” Yoon-Hwa bit her tongue to suppress her laughter.
Se-Young smacked her head. “I told you so that I can relieve some stress but you will never stop joking."
“Ok, ok, I am sorry.” Yoon-Hwa rubbed her head where Se-Young just gave her a blow. “Although my tone was amusing but I am not joking. Mr. Shim likes you and you like him as well, then what’s the big deal?” Yoon-Hwa stood up hurriedly from her chair to dash out as she knew Se-Young will kill her for saying that.
“You brat come here.” Se-Young also ran behind her.
...
After two days of brainstorming, Se-Young had decided to tell everything to Jung-Nan and right now, she was sitting beside her on the sofa.
She gulped still thinking about how to start the conversation. Exhaling a deep breath, she opened her mouth. “Aunty, I was thinking about... about...” she cleared her throat, still being hesitant.
“...moving out.” Yes, she internally screamed. She was finally able to say it to the big boss. Jung-Nan frowned her eyebrows not being able to process what her lovely Se-Young just uttered now. “You what?” she asked raising her eyebrows.
Se-Young licked her dry lips in nervousness. “I... I am thinking of moving out.” she repeated scared of Jung-Nan's reaction as she bowed her head down.
“Why?” to her surprise, Jung-Nan did not burst out but when she raised her head looking into Jung-Nan eyes, she only saw sadness and disappointment.
Se-Young sighed and explained the whole scenario to her and Jung-Nan’s facial expressions were not looking good. “So, your father now wants to live with you after leaving you.” Jung-Nan looked away, trying to not let the tears trickle out.
“No... It is actually my brother. Mr. Lee was against it but he said yes for Se-Won.” Se-Young explained fidgeting with her fingers. Jung-Nan somewhat knew that Se-Jung must have refused because of her.
“What’s with the stiff atmosphere?” Dong-Hoon came and sit across from them. He was brushing and drying his hair with the towel.
Jung-Nan stood up. “You can ask her.” she said to Dong-Hoon and turned back to Se-Young. “I will not stop you from taking any kind of decision, so don’t feel bad. Just... just take care of yourself.” she said and went towards her room, making Se-Young feel worse about herself.
Dong-Hoon was just looking at them bewildered not understanding anything. “What happened?” he asked Se-Young.
‘Now level two’ she thought to herself exhaling a deep breath and stood up from the sofa. “I am moving out.” she turned and left more like ran away from the lounge.
Dong-Hoon widened his eyes and stood up running behind her.
He gripped her left upper arm turning her to face him. “Is it because of me?” he asked controlling his anger. “First, leave me.” she jerked herself back to free her arm. “And everything is not about you. I am moving out because I want to live with my brother." she was again turning away to particularly run off from him but stopped when he said, “Brother? Then what about Mr. Lee. Last time I checked you were not even ready to face him. Now you are going to live with him under one roof.” he raised his eyebrows sarcastically looking at her.
Se-Young just held her head down not knowing what to say. “I knew that you don’t care about my feelings and take them as a joke but I never thought that you could be this heartless to my mom.” Dong-Hoon scoffed and left from there to his room.
Se-Young sighed grabbing her hair into her fists, she never had felt this bad about herself.
…
Min-Hoon gave her one more tissue as Jung-Nan kept blowing on them. “For how long are you going to cry like this.” Min-Hoon asked troubled. “Until you say yes.” she wailed yet again.
“But you can do this yourself.” he said giving her one more tissue. “She will understand that I am doing this to stop her from moving out.” she again blew on the tissue and sniffed and again said, “But if you will do this, she will think of it as real.” she explained to him in-between her sobs.
“Ok, suppose that Se-Young and Dong-Hoon got married to each other, then are you going to tie them with you. They will eventually move out. All of them.” Min-Hoon tried to make her understand but she was stubborn.
“That is something time will decide. You just tell me, are you going to do this or not?” he sighed knowing that he could not win against his wife right now. “Ok, I will do it. Now stop crying. You have made me an actor these days.” Min-Hoon said shaking his head.
“You really will?” Jung-Nan asked with sparkly eyes and Min-Hoon sighed, nodding his head, receiving a bear hug from her.
