Chapter 86 - Sparking the flame

Dong-Hoon was smiling like a fool looking at nowhere. “Sir are you that happy because we got the deal with Mr. Choi.” Mr. Yang, the manager butted into his sweet thoughts.

“And since when you are allowed to enter without knocking.” Dong-Hoon said sarcastically. Awkwardly laughing Mr. Yand scratched the back of his neck. “Actually, your brother, Mr. Shim Ji-Hoon is here, waiting for you in the VIP section.”

Frowning his eyebrows, Dong-Hoon stood up. “Ji-Hoon.” he mumbled to himself.

In a private section, the waiter was taking their order and Ji-Hoon told Yoo-Na to order for him as well and she gladly did. “... and red wine.” she said as the waiter finished writing her order. “And some clothes.” Ji-Hoon mumbled.

“What?” Yoo-Na asked with a bewildered face.

Ji-Hoon snickered. “Nothing, was just joking.” and the waiter quietly left from there.

“Wow, the Shim Ji-Hoon can throw jokes. I am impressed.” she slightly clapped three times.

After sometime Dong-Hoon came to them, he was just looking at Ji-Hoon with an open mouth and Ji-Hoon just placed his hands on his chest in embarrassment. “Don’t look at me like this.” Dong-Hoon burst into a peal of laughter. “Oh God, I can’t believe this is our Ji-Hoon.” the tears were coming out from the corner of his eyes, he was laughing that much.

“You did a fine job.” Dong-Hoon gave a thumbs up to Yoo-Na knowing that it was not his brother’s doing.

“I know right, thank you.” she shyly laughed placing her hand on her nose. “But we need to tell you something really important.” she said composing herself.

“I will do so.” Ji-Hoon signaled her to keep quiet and rolling her eyes, she placed her index finger on her lips.

Dong-Hoon was now sitting on the chair beside Ji-Hoon. “What is it? Be quick, the atmosphere here is giving me goosebumps.” he sarcastically said to Ji-Hoon.

“Actually, Big bro, in the cinema hall, we saw... we saw...” Ji-Hoon was hesitating.

“Oh come on, you just need to say we saw Se-Young sister with some guy.” not being able to bear it Yoo-Na blabbered.

“What?” Dong-Hoon was dumbfounded at the news and Ji-Hoon facepalmed himself, knowing the calmness was just there for the next two minutes. “Yes, and we even saw them kissing.” she was again trying to exaggerate and Ji-Hoon really wanted to burry himself inside the ground.

They could not tell what was he thinking with his face, was he sad or was he angry or none? “No, they were not.” Ji-Hoon signaled Yoo-Na a no with his eyes.

“Oh, then who kissed. We? Oh, I forgot we did not kiss in the theater but at...” Ji-Hoon cut her off, “Yes, yes, they were kissing, I mean it looked like they were kissing, we might have misunderstood the situation because of the weird angles or he might be helping her because she could have gotten something in her eyes.” he tried to justify the situation but Dong-Hoon just left hurriedly from there not giving any expression to them.

“What just happened?” Yoo-Na said feeling confused. “Why did you do that?.” Ji-Hoon asked frustrated.

“Actually, I really like Se-Young sister and would not it be nice to become relatives with her?” Yoo-Na smiled cheerfully at him.

“Their bickering barely stopped and you have given a spark to the flame, the house is going to burn tonight.” Ji-Hoon exhaled in a shrill voice.

“but don’t you think it would be great? Tae-Hoon and Hani, the cute couple. Brother Dong-Hoon and Se-Young sister, a personable couple. Ji-Hoon and Yoo-Na, the seductive couple.” she was looking so proud of herself and Ji-Hoon felt like crying, that girl in front of him had great many fantasies.

Dong-Hoon straight went towards the kitchen and did not see Se-Young. “Chef Kim.” so he called Yoon-Hwa.

“Yes, Mr. Shim.” she was really nervous looking at the serious expressions of the Hotelier. “Where is Se... I mean Chef Lee?” he asked in his demanding voice.

Yoon-Hwa contemplated whether to tell on her friend or not but on the second thought, she really wanted to see his reaction to the news of her going on a date with Jae-In. “Sir, Chef Lee and Chef Woo are on a half-day, they have gone to a movie date.” she whispered to him acting as if Jae-In and Se-Young had their secret which others should not know and he was really pissed.

He was about to leave from there but Yoon-Hwa wanted to sprinkle some water over the fire she had created. “Sir, our Se-Young is not interested in dating at all, she just went out for the sake of her friendship, you know what I am saying.” Dong-Hoon felt as if the whole universe was trying that he would get to know about the things between them.

“And why are you telling this to me?” he suspiciously asked. “Come on Sir, I have seen something in your eyes for my friend.” she took the chance to confirm her suspicion.

Dong-Hoon cleared his throat. “Keep this news to yourself.” Yoon-Hwa was internally dancing conforming to her doubt. “Best of luck.” she wished him as he left from the kitchen.

“He-he-he, what will happen?” she sinisterly laughed.

...

Ji-Hoon suggested Yoo-Na to go back and he would leave with his furious brother and Yoo-Na obliged to his suggestion not so humbly.

“Hyung, don’t pay attention to what Yoo-Na said, she likes to say silly things.” Ji-Hoon said taking a seat in front of Dong-Hoon who was aggressively turning pages of the contract he was happy about until some time ago.

Still, the lines on his forehead did not disappear.

“Se-Young, what happened dear? You look very stressed.” Jung-Nan approached her as she just returned home. “Nothing aunt, just tired.” she said smiling a bit, not wanting to trouble Jung-Nan.

“My poor Se-Young, you can rest for a bit. I will take care of the dinner.” even though Se-Young protested but Jung-Nan successfully pushed her towards her room.
