~Flashback~
“I saw you with another girl in the university. Can't you just stick to one.” Ji-Hoon said making a disgusted face to Tae-Hoon who just ended the call with his so-called girl. Dong-Hoon was laughing at the hilarious face of Ji-Hoon.
“Hyung, you guys don’t understand. I can't be with the same girl for the rest of my life.” Tae-Hoon said rolling his eyes. They have had this conversation many times. “You always say that but you know what, it does not make sense to us.” Dong-Hoon said as Ji-Hoon was choosing which music to play.
“Fine, listen. No, not listen give me your mobile for a second.” Tae-Hoon said to Ji-Hoon, stretching his hand for the mobile. Ji-Hoon squinted his eyes and hesitated but eventually gave his cell phone to the younger one.
Tae-Hoon was swiping and tapping the screen, without a doubt doing something naughty. “Here.” he handed the cell phone back, making Ji-Hoon’s eyes widened as he saw his dearer-than-life playlist completely deleted. Tae-Hoon had deleted every single song just letting only one to survive.
In a shock, Ji-Hoon was just frozen as his hard work of creating that playlist just went into that delete bin. Looking at his expression Dong-Hoon asked, “Why, what happened?” while Tae-Hoon laughed at his condition.
“Now tell me, can you survive with that one song alone. Just like a song, every girl is different. Need to have every kind of taste in our lives.” he said being proud of himself for expressing such an amazing example.
“And same goes for your food, think if I just give you only one kind of food for the rest of your life will you survive like that.” he gave another example, making Dong-Hoon shiver with the thought of separating with different foods.
When reality hit Ji-Hoon he stood up and launched himself on Tae-Hoon. “You idiot, that was a treasure.” both of them were rolling on the bed as Dong-Hoon kept tutting while shaking his head.
After sometime when they stopped their hair-grabbing fight, they sat straight on the bed with their messed-up clothes and hair, looking at each other they started to laugh making fun of themselves.
~End of Flashback~
Ji-Hoon smiled looking at the playlist he had to create again after Tae-Hoon deleted it, Tae-Hoon really had his own weird perspectives to see things.
...
~Flashback~ (In High School Days)
Dong-Hoon had dragged the younger ones to the Kitchen as their parents were out for the day and they had the house to themselves except their workers. “Wash these vegetables and cut the corners of the bread.” Dong-Hoon said to Tae-Hoon and Ji-Hoon respectively.
“Big bro, you can do this alone. I was playing video games.” Tae-Hoon said as Ji-Hoon also nodded in approval. “Oh, really then I think I can eat alone and you can stay without food.” Dong-Hoon said giving them a sinister smile.
“Yes, wash the vegetables.” Tae-Hoon said and started doing his work and Ji-Hoon also got a knife, cutting the corners of the bread as Dong-Hoon got busy with his meat stuffing.
As the process of making sandwiches was going on, Tae-Hoon could not stay still and he took away the knife from Ji-Hoon’s hands. “My dear Jiliet, your beautiful hands are not made for such lowly works.” Tae-Hoon said taking Ji-Hoon’s hands in his hands while caressing them.
(Ji-Hoon + Juliet = Jiliet)
Ji-Hoon got it that Tae-Hoon was in the mood for role-playing and he acted shy lowering his gaze on the floor. “Your hands are just made to touch the expensive silk and satin.” Tae-Hoon kissed Ji-Hoon’s hands gently as if he was a real princess.
“What can I do Taemeo, that evil witch had captured me in this castle and will not let me out anywhere.” Ji-Hoon pointed at the fed-up Dong-Hoon who was glaring at them with his piercing gaze and the play of Romeo and Juliet was suddenly taking a route to Rapunzel's story.
(Tae-Hoon + Romeo = Taemeo)
“Don't worry Jiliet, I will save you from the injustice of this old vixen.” Tae-Hoon said pointing the knife towards Dong-Hoon. “Be ready to face the consequences of your cruelty.” he said, slightly stretching his hand forward and acting like he had stabbed Dong-Hoon.
Dong-Hoon was still standing in that position as his hands placed on his hips and even though he did not play along with Tae-Hoon's marvelous act, he acted as if the evil vixen was dead now with his excellent blow and he threw the knife on the floor.
“Now, you can be free and we can be together happily ever after.” Tae-Hoon turned to Ji-Hoon looking into his eyes lovingly.
Ji-Hoon gasped exasperatedly, “My Taemeo.”
“My Jiliet.” Tae-Hoon grabbed him with his waist. “I love you.” and caressed Ji-Hoon’s left cheek.
“I love you too, Taemeo.” Ji-Hoon said cringing to himself.
“Are you guys done?” Dong-Hoon said grabbing the knife from the floor.
"RUN..." Tae-Hoon shouted and both of them ran out of the kitchen as Dong-Hoon ran behind them with the knife. “Big bro, sorryyyyyy. If I hurt my amazing face then what will girls look at.”
~End of Flashback~
Tae-Hoon held himself back from laughing like a maniac remembering that day, careful enough to not ruin Hani’s sleep but the second he realized what had happened between him and Ji-Hoon and things were not yet settled he heavily sighed, feeling utterly dejected once again.
His gaze traveled from the ceiling to Hani, who was sleeping peacefully, looking almost like a fairy. No matter how he wanted to blame all that on her, his heart never allowed him to do so. He stretched his hand forward and got rid of the hair that was blocking his views and tucked it behind her ear. “She deserves much better than just being stuck with me in this relationship.” he was saying that for the second time and he really did believe that from the bottom of his heart.
