Chapter 48 - Quarreling like an old couple

"Wait... are you asking for a deal in between your sister and my son?" Eun-Woo sighed and nodded his head.

"Not only my sister likes him but it would be great for both of our companies as well." Eun-Woo suggested and Min-Hoon eyed Eun-Bi from top to bottom as his face was dead serious. Eun-Bi was sitting like a bold businesswoman, ready to take over the world.

"Hmmmm...”

...

In the next few days, the tension between the brothers kept increasing while Se-Young and Dong-Hoon kept bickering whenever they got any chance.

One time she poured the whole pancake mixture on his head when he was annoying her in the kitchen. They had reached the point where they start to quarrel in front of anyone, be it the Hotel staff or the family members.

Dong-Hoon kept calling her a housemaid and she kept calling him His Majesty. She always tried her best to not get triggered by the small things and fortunately, she was getting used to all those bickering that she was able to backfire easily without thinking about the acute attacks.

"You should stay within your limits. You don't own this house." Dong-Hoon said when she was drinking water.

She acted like she was choking and threw all the water out of her mouth on his face, on purpose and started to laugh hysterically. "AhahaHaAhahaHaha, you should not talk nonsensical stuff to someone who is drinking something because It may lead to such disasters." she exhaled deeply to calm herself down from her extreme laughter.

Dong-Hoon was boiling in anger, he snatched the glass in her hand and threw the remaining water onto her face.

"The hell." she shouted. "What? one should get paid back for their deeds." he retorted sassily and before they went ahead, Jung-Nan rushed towards them, standing in between. "Can you both just stop it. Why do you quarrel like some old couple." she scolded them.

"Wa... what couple mom huh, I would not even want to imagine such a thing." he scoffed.

"I am not dying to look at you either." Se-Young scoffed as well turning away from him, crossing her arms across her chest.

"You guys are twenty-eight and not just eight, even Bo-Mi behaves more properly than you guys." Jung-Nan shook her head in frustration.

"Aunty, he started it. He kept calling me a housemaid." Se-Young decided to act like a victim there.

"Oh my God, I can't believe this. Now don't play the victim card here. You keep calling me Your Majesty as well." he retorted.

"What can I say when you act like one." she rolled her eyes.

"SHUT UP." Jung-Nan shouted and both of them flinched, getting startled. "If you guys did not stop this right now then I will lock both of you inside one room until you beg for pardon." she warned them.

"Sorry, aunty." Se-Young said scrunching her nose at Dong-Hoon and he gritted his teeth wanting to throw the glass in his hand on her head and just the thought of it made him laugh.

Jung-Nan and Se-Young looked at him weirdly as he was fuming in anger just a moment ago and right now laughing hysterically. "I think you need to go to a psychiatrist... only he can help you." Se-Young said while rushing out of the kitchen hurriedly.

Jung-Nan shook her head and sighed and then she grabbed Dong-Hoon's ear. "Why do you always pick fights with her." she said dangling the index finger of the other hand on his face.

"Ouch, ouch, mom, it hurts." he said through the pain.

"Oh, thanks for telling me, I thought that twisting your ear like this would make you feel good." she said sarcastically and finally left his ear and he rubbed it to ease the pain.

"Nowadays, it is quite boring in the house. So, I just keep myself entertained." he shrugged his shoulder and got a slap on the back of his shoulder.

"Whyyyy." he whined again.

"She is such a nice girl, you should treat her better." she squinted her eyes looking at him.

"Yeah, nice girl." he rolled his eyes and got another slap, this time on the back of his head. "I am your mother, listen to me or else..." she glared at him and left the kitchen as well.

"I will do whatever I want, psst." he mumbled to himself.

...

In the living room, Dong-Hoon and Se-Young bumped into each other, but unlike other people, it was Dong-Hoon who slipped and Se-Young who caught him.

Their current position was like, his one foot on the floor and the other in the air, one hand holding hers and the other her waist. Her one hand was holding his hand and the other was supporting his back.

Both of them were looking at each other, blinking their eyes repeatedly.

Their moment broke when Jung-Nan came and clapped twice near their ears to get them out of their imaginations and Se-Young hurriedly took her hands off of him and he fell on the ground, groaning in pain.

She bit her tongue, cursing herself under the breath. "I called you guys like three times, and what was happening here." Jung-Nan said squinting her eyes, trying to tease them.

"N... nothing aunty, he was just walking and not looking around and bumped into me and I saved him." Se-Young was laughing nervously.

Dong-Hoon who was groaning on the floor stood up glaring at her. "The hell is wrong with you, at first it was your fault that you were not paying attention to your surroundings and secondly if you saved me from falling them why dropped me afterward." he was caressing his back which was hurting due to the strong impact of the floor.

Looking at him Se-Young wanted to laugh so bad but controlled herself for the sake of Jung-Nan. "Are you guys sure there is nothing going in between you two? It really feels like a love quarrel nowadays." she gave both of them a suggestive look, raising her left eyebrow.
