"He never made me... he never made me look from his point of view. His all attention was on you Ji-Hoon. You were enough for him. No, you still are enough for him." he paused for a second to wipe his tears. "Please, all of you get out of the room. I don't want any of you to be here." Dong-Hoon said, turning away from them going towards his washroom.
Tae-Hoon tried to grab his hand again but it was in vain again.
Se-Young swallowed hard as she was feeling too guilty. She felt like if she did not have entered the room then things might have been different and before her emotions could act up, she rushed from there to get her inhaler.
...
Tae-Hoon set foot into his room and he really wanted to apologize, even though he really meant what he said but he never wanted to hurt Hani’s feelings.
He would have shouted at her and blamed her for not taking the pills and keeping this child. But when he saw her after many days since that incident, he could not utter a word. She was looking so fragile, to the point where she could break into pieces if a little bit of weight got on her.
He went towards the other side of the curtain stand and found her sleeping and he sighed, rubbing his forehead. "I am... really sorry. You are not stupid. You are strong, strong enough to stay in a room with a jerk like me." he smiled sadly and moved away from her side.
...
Everyone was eating breakfast quietly. The atmosphere was usually weird at the dining table but something was very off today. Min-Hoon and Jung-Nan kept glancing at all of them. "Have we missed something?" Jung-Nan asked eyeing all of them.
But they still kept their quiet.
When everyone was almost done with their breakfast, Ji-Hoon grabbed everyone's attention. "Mom, Dad, I am moving out."
Se-Young saw Dong-Hoon's hand clenching the fork while Min-Hoon and Jung-Nan shouted "What?" In unison. "Are you insane Ji-Hoon." Min-Hoon said in rage.
"Apparently people here feel suffocated because of me. So, I think it would be better for me and for everyone if I move out." he said looking into his father's eyes.
Min-Hoon stood up from his seat. "I never thought that I will be hearing such a baseless thing from you. Whatever is in your mind, get rid of it." he scolded him while dangling his index finger on Ji-Hoon's face.
"I am sorry, but still I will move out the very day you guys say yes." he also stood up from his chair.
"Why are you guys giving me blows one by one, Huh. Why don't you just kill me in an instant." Jung-Nan's voice was loud but came out in a crack.
"Mom..." she cut Ji-Hoon off. "I have always thought that no matter what happens the bond between you brothers will always remain the same. I always taught you guys to stay together in difficult situations and not to fight with each other. But what is wrong with you two. First him and now you." she pointed her hand towards Tae-Hoon and then at him. "Why are you guys trying to give us a hard time."
Ji-Hoon did not say anything neither he gave any reaction. He just said sorry and left the dining area. Tae-Hoon was looking down when his mother pointed at him. He felt like everyone had some complaints against him.
Jung-Nan felt her knees went weak as she plopped down on her chair again. She gave a weak gaze to Min-Hoon as he nodded towards her and left behind Ji-Hoon, as if telling her with his eyes that he will take care of Ji-Hoon's matter.
Se-Young and Hani went towards Jung-Nan, telling her to cheer up and saying that everything was going to be alright but the heart of a mother was in a condition like, where the main supply of blood had been stopped to the heart. She felt that piercing agony and discomfort in her heart, which could only be understood by a mother.
"Now, tell me what is going on with you." Ji-Hoon and Min-Hoon were seated in the car.
Ji-Hoon sighed. "I really love my brothers and I don't want them to feel uncomfortable with my presence." his head was dropped low as he breathed out another sigh.
"I know that how much you care about your brothers but you need to know that we care about you three more than that. Whatever led you to the thought of moving out, just forget it and I would not like to hear it one more time." Min-Hoon strictly yet calmly lectured him.
"Yes, Dad." Ji-Hoon took a deep breath in to calm his nerves.
...
Se-Young was on her scooty at the door of the Shim Mansion, which had abruptly stopped due to some unknown reasons. "Ughhh, don't tell me." she tried many times but the engine was not catching the spark, she got off of it and kicked its side. "You are so troublesome." she groaned as her foot ached due to the kick and started to jump around on one leg. "Ughhhhh, the hell." she exhaled in frustration.
"Having some problem." she turned her head towards Dong-Hoon, who got his head out of the car's rear window.
"Like you care." she said rolling her eyes and Dong-Hoon scoffed. "Well, I just thought that you might need some help." he shrugged his shoulders.
She widened her eyes. "Are you serious?" she was stunned that why would he offer to help her.
"Does it look like I am joking?" he had a blank expression plastered onto his face that made her believe he was really offering help.
She gulped thinking that he was not that bad as much as she had thought of him. "Then I guess, I will be thankful." she bit her lips nervously.
"Good, then go outside and get help from a cab." he said almost laughing sinisterly as he told the driver to start the car. In a situation like that, he needed to do something to distract his mind and he did it via Se-Young.
She balled her fists, regretted thinking that he was somewhat nice and was having some pity for him after last night while instead, he was the biggest drama queen in her life.
