Apollo and his men had taken to the hut for a search when they got there he instructed the the hut be surrounded, the soldiers did so and Apollo went to the door and knocked, behold the old woman came to the door thinking it was Eva who had come earlier but to her amazement it was a man.
"Good day old one, perhaps you might be of a little help to me " he walked in as he said this.
The old woman was so scared hearing this and seeing a lot of soldiers surround her home.
In shaky voice she said " what may I offer you my lord " . Apollo looked at her with disgust glancing through the old hut and the old woman who was wearing a patched garment which has faded from blue to grey. Her short brown hair was tucked behind ears and she looked terrified.
" I seek a young lady with a child in her alms". The. Old woman knew that the girl was in danger and said she hasn't seen no such woman go through this path, on the table was two cups of a leaf tea, which was served to Eva, Apollo walked towards the table picked it up for it was still warm and fresh. He picked it up and sniff the cup with the broken handle he said.
" if I may ask did you make this tea for yourself alone? Or you had company? "
The old woman denied of seeing anyone saying
" I made this so I may drink of it later when it is warm"
Apollo ordered that there should be a search round the hut and the bushes round it . He stood watching and still interrogating as he was waiting for response from the men he sent. The soldiers took a search round the hut as they were instructed and found nothing, then one one them came back saying :
" my lord I found nothing."
Apollo turned to the old woman and said "sorry for the troubles I caused you old one "
The woman took a bow and thanked the commander for she knew he was of royalty. Now they took out to the woods. As they were about to take a new path Apollo saw a hoof trail of a horse, he took halt and went to inspect what he had just seen. When he got there it was indeed that of a horse and it seemed like one that had just left the place the followed through it leading to a new path entirely. But they took it anyways rushing as they ran into the new Path.
Misty and fogy was the evening as Eva carried the baby in her arms riding through the bushy path. Going forward, she heard a noise coming out of the woods it was the Spartan soldiers running towards her she hit the horse and ran, these men were running as fast as they could hoping they would get to see the girl Eva was smart and square as she rode with great speed. They got to rocky path but now the evening was come and as she rode baby Hugo gave a loud cry for he was not comfortable. The men heard this cry and traced it knowing it was the child.
" spread out !!!"
Apollo shouted in aloud voice the man did and continued the race to catch the girl. The place seemed to be precarious and was risky, when Eva got to this point it felt like a change in the Atmosphere and baby Hugo stopped crying and they gradually ran through the rocky path. She saw a cave and ran towards it.
The cave was covered with leaves and plant as disguise, she rushed into it gently and hid with horse pulling back the plants to cover as they were before, hardly would one have thought some one was there, she carried Hugo and pat him hoping he would not cry , the men had just gotten to the cave where she hid and thought they had lost the girl once again, the looked through seeing only caves that seemed to be blocked and two roads. Not knowing which way to go through Apollo ordered that the men should split some with him and the others should take the next road, hoping this would help.
While they were still pondering on what to do, a large mass of some thick , heavy whitish liquid fell onto these men heads and shoulders and drenched them. Above them a rock rested a menacing, slavering creature, it was large with bony limbs. The creature's forelimbs were rather lanky compared to the rest of the body,and the back legs were short. The creature had what appeared to be two long clawed fingers at the end of its forelimbs, but it crawled on it knuckles and backs of its fingers which were covered in smaller hairs. It also had spikes extruding from the knuckles and the base of it hind feet from it stomach grew two more arms, probably used for eating the prey. The head appeared to be a solid sphere, but it opened it jaw extremely wide to let out a snarl, unfolding it head almost like an onions revealing rows and rows of teeth, the eyes appeared soulless as they glow a wide color.
The soldiers were shocked but took a defensive posture at the monster , it spread out it arm and caught one of them ripping off his head away from the body, they shot arrows at it but his body was as strong as that of a metal, making almost impossible to pierce through, Eva saw what was going on and came out of the cave the men being distracted by the monster didn't pay attention to what was going on at the back, she took the baby and rode off on the horse. The monster roared as he began to pounce on the soldiers they fought aggressively for their lives.
Apollo struck the the beast with his magic but the monster seem not to be affected by the magic yet was getting stronger, the men were strong and kept on fighting.
At this point Apollo was angry and ordered the men to charge at the beast, now they had surrounded the beast and were ready to launch at it. Apollo shouted
"Soldiers!!!!!!!!!"
They all ran towards it hit it at different points, the beast struggled as he fought with them, now they had no way to take it down the beast kept on fighting and Apollo stabbed it with his sword on the chest and it tour through the flesh, as he did the beast hit him to the rocks and continued fighting with the men killing them, at this time Apollo saw that the weak point was the chest and that was the only way to kill the beast he told his soldiers once again
"the chest "
They all targeted the chest.
Apollo hit the monster with his magic, this time in its chest causing the monster to fall to the ground , they ran towards the beast, stabbed it at every point the could in the chest, they had defeated the beast yet it was still breathing, Apollo walked towards the men drenched in blood and sweat took a spear and cut the head with a sling.
