The time seemed to drag, and at the same time passed in a blur as the date of the banquet approached. There near the end of the preparation Emerick, Trixie, and the rest were forced to make some major last minute changes when the kingdom was hit with it's first snowfall of the year which came earlier than usual. Notwithstanding the vast inconvenience this caused, everything was adjusted accordingly just intime for the big day. Titus's pride was a little wounded, he had spent hours preparing a garden now blanketed in snow, but otherwise all was well.
"This is it," Sullivan spoke to the rest of the family as though rallying troops for the last battle of a grueling war. "This is our moment. We've worked hard! We've endured sleepless nights and trial after trial. We've suffered through hellish scorn and endless criticism from though who would see us fail!
