"Another," Rathus waved to the bartender, pushing back an empty mug and setting a few silvers on the bar in front of him.
"Ain't you a little young to be drinking this early in the day, boy?" The bartender, a surly looking orc that went by Jack, questioned.
"Ain't you a little old to be sticking your nose in someone else's business?" Rathus retorted.
"Fair enough," Old Jack chuckled. "Guess even the young suffer broken hearts."
"Why you say that?" Rathus glanced to the older orc.
"Boy, you think you the only man who ever been done wrong by a woman?" He chuckled. "Met many a women done wrong by men too… either way, you ain't alone. There's many a reason these places get such good business, and heartbreak is right at the top of that list."
"Have to have a heart to break it," Rathus scoffed.
"Uh huh," Jack gave him a look that said more than his grunt, but Rathus didn't feel like acknowledging it.
