Liron paced restlessly as the crimson glow of the blood moon shone through his window. It was past midnight, but he couldn't settle down enough to sleep. Something foul was afoot, he could feel it in his bones. He had to do something, anything.
He cast a glance to the cot where Zeke was sleeping peacefully. Part of him wanted nothing more than to curl up on his own cot and drift away peacefully into a dream, but something about the moonlight charged him with an uneasy energy. He was undeniably exhausted, but sleep wasn't an option. With a sigh, Liron fetched his coat and slipped quietly from the house. Maybe a walk would clear his head.
