Jemma took a breath as the man gave her a nod and walked off. Glancing around at her surroundings, she found herself alone… more or less. There were still those passing on the streets that would occasionally stop and offer a respectful bow to the modest monument, but she was left by herself in the small park. Jemma took the opportunity to practice some helpful breathing exercises Jacoby had taught her, and contemplated what her plan was.
It wasn't easy, her mind was still reeling from what had happened the previous night. Titus having a girl over had been enough of a shock for a single day—even if he insisted she was merely a business contact—but the conversation she'd overheard had made sleep impossible. This was unfortunate, because the only thing Jemma enjoyed more in life than sleep was pudding.
