"I'm telling you, big things are in the making! Huge things even!" Liron was practically shouting. Sullivan really wasn't sure what to make of it. The fox hadn't stopped chittering since he'd gotten out of a meeting with Emerick and Jacoby. It was honestly a little annoying.
"I'm sure," He grunted.
"Isn't it great!" Liron continued. "Can't you just see it? Me an investigator? I mean, I was basically made for this! They may as well make me a full blown detective!"
"Yeah, sure," Sullivan remarked, not truly listening.
Liron was on a loop of self-delusion, and Sullivan was still quite busy. It didn't matter that most of the household had finished their daily tasks, or that a number of the children were already in bed. For Sullivan, the work was far from over.
