The following days passed peacefully enough. As Trixie and the others toiled away in the aftermath of the Midwinter's day terrorist attack, Emerick had the pleasure of sitting idly in a fayelox drawn carriage. It was about as interesting as it sounded.
The first two days or so weren't too bad. For one thing, Emerick was able to introduce himself to the rest of Winifred's caravan, a lively and hard working bunch to be sure. Like the one who'd collected their luggage that first day, the group of seven young men were all--suspiciously enough--grey orcs. Even more suspicious was the ambiguous nature of their relationship to Winni. He could've sworn he heard one of them call Winni 'ma' at some point. It wasn't really his business though, so he tried not to give in to his curiosity.
