The addition of Calpurnia and her crew to the roster proved thoroughly amusing. At least, it did to Emerick. Things became more chaotic without out Ellie's supervision, but in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter. Nobody who would be present would mind the dissary, and quite frankly he felt the handmaiden was over due for some down time. Besides, the kids had taken the opportunity to add their own creative touch to the environment.
"Jacoby, It's midwinters eve!" Emerick scolded the dour butler. "Can't you at least try to crack a smile?"
