While Emerick and Rathus had been exploring the manor, Trixie and Ellie followed the count through baren hallways to a warm, albiet simple parlor. Trixie found something about the minimal decor oddly refreshing. She had been surrounded by luxurious and espesnsive looking decor for so long, she hadn't realized how stressful it had been for her. It was almost like finding fresh market produce after having been forced to live on nothing but candy for days.
"Everything is so nice and simple in here," Trixie smiled appreciatively. "I really like it!"
"I'm glad," Deemer replied with a smile of his own.
