The following week and half proceeded as normal. Trixie's daily task list had become somewhat more manageable, so she felt more rested, and she had the pleasure of seeing Emerick on a more frequent basis. News of the move had been disiminated to the rest of the family and everybody was buzzing with excitement. Ellie had been fairly quiet for some reason, but she behaved agreeably enough so Trixie took it as a good thing. It seemed like everything was looking right in the world.
"You seem quite chipper today, my dear," Emerick observed with a smile as he stroked the length of her arm. "Looking forward to personal space for a change?"
"Definately looking forward to setting my own schedule again," Trixie replied.
