Trixie wasn't the only one suffering from sleepless nights. Titus hadn't slept soundly since Vicky last disrupted his life, terrified to let his guard drop for even a moment. The ongoing investigation of the explosion at one of their facilities wasn't helping his nerves either.
"Are you sure you want to go out at this time of night?" Rosalie's grandfather questioned with some concern.
He and his wife had started staying with them after they returned from the palace to Rosalie's shop. It hadn't been practical to remain at the palace for too long, so their return home had been inevitable. Still, Titus had hoped to be able to resolve the Vickie issue before coming home.
"She needs her sleep, and I am just going to keep disturbing her," Titus replied. He allowed himself a moment to gaze at his wife.
